Hello Brian,
Great question. We recommend allowing the coating to fully cure for a minimum of 72 hours before driving on it. For extra precaution, we'd suggest parking on cardboard for 2 weeks.
Best regards,
Kevin

Answer:
Hello osu16,
Thanks for your interest in our concrete stain. Yes, this product can be applied to a pool deck (just not to the inside of a pool where it'd be submerged under water). Please note that the higher moisture of a pool deck may shorten the lifespan of the coating. For best results, please follow all label instructions. Well wishes!

Hi xxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for your question. Applying our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer will increase adhesion, but it's not necessary. We do recommend etching the bare concrete beforehand though. This will make sure the stain penetrates and adheres properly. Best wishes! - Sara

It's an older fireplace, would cleaning be required first? Also, what about a primer and sealer? Thank you!

Hi Merekat001,
Our Solid Color Concrete Stain will hold up to foot and vehicle traffic, unlike our paint. It is also suitable for exterior surfaces, so it's durable enough to hold up against the outside elements. Whether you decide to paint or stain your fireplace, we recommend cleaning the surface first so it's free of dust, chalk, mold and mildew stains, loose and peeling paint and all other
foreign substances. After the surface is clean and dry, you can apply your stain or paint to the bare brick. Also, please make sure to only apply your coating to areas that will not get too hot to touch with your bare hand. Applying a separate sealer afterwards isn't necessary. Good luck with your project! - Sara

1-Gal. #PFC-53 Leisure Time Solid Color Concrete Stain is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 43.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for driveways I spent so much time on my driveway removing old paint, cleaning and etching. After a long time waiting for the rain to stop to paint my new driveway, I apply this stain like six gallon of this product, I wait for it to dry and apply a second coat because the color was not strong, also nothing like the catalog color choices, but because I choosed a custom color and already had the six gallon unreturnable. There was not rain for about a week, and I wanted to give it extra time for it to cure or dry. Then it started raining, i didnt park on my driveway for about a month, until the raining stop and then I apply the sealer. Everything was perfect until a car was park on the driveway, it doesnt resist hot tires like it mention. I have a lot of white spot now everywhere. Is not only the money but the time invested and it was worthless, very dissapointed. I recommend this product only for patios, the gentleman in homedepot recommend me the incorrect product, i think homedepot should train them better, not only to read labels but to have knowledge of their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful coverage This completely transformed the appearance of our driveway. It covered up discolored and old concrete, making it look brand new. It definitely refreshed the look of our home. I would highly recommend this product for new and old concrete. We had an area of older concrete on the driveway that fed into newer concrete. After applying the stain they look uniform. We used the Santa Fe color and it was very rich and vibrant. Also, clean up and application was very easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent concrete stain for exterior basement I bought this to stain our exterior basement walls which are concrete blocks coated with a layer of plaster "mud" which is basically concrete stucco. While the stucco helped to cover up the concrete block, there were so many discolorations across the surface of the stucco that it just didn't look good (see before and after pics attached). So I bought both the Behr Concrete Bonding Primer No. 880 and applied one coat of it, then waited about 18 hours and applied the stain. To give some contrast to our house, I opted to do a computerized color-matching of one of the samples in the store...slate gray #6695. The result is absolutely amazing! This really goes well with our gray siding and black/gray shingles. The stain went on well and we only needed one gallon. I highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Coverage on Textured Pool Deck Used to restore a texture pool deck, chose a darker shade around hot tub and a complimentary light color on the rest. Never thought we could do less then pavers or full resurfacing .. pressure washed, used the concrete crack filler on the surface cracks and then double coated the entire deck. Will let you know how it stands up but makes the deck look like new and much better and way cheaper then pavers. Highly recommended and available in every color that u can paint in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Product! As a Contractor I was looking for a way to create that mottled look of an acid-based stain(of which I'm not sure you can find anymore in Ca.)and having used Behr Products for years decided to try the Solid Concrete Stain. Well look at the photos! Product was applied to faded colored concrete with a few calcified and eroded surface areas. Entire area was prepped(power washed, etched, rinsed, neutralized, power washed again)which is key, and allowed to dry. Stain was then applied in several thin coats using 4 colors from the Behr chart. This product is thin, it's not paint so do not apply as such. Product adhered perfectly to surface, dried quickly, and subsequent coats bit nicely into each other. Successful project, product works & looks fantastic. Definitely recommend and will use again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid color concrete stain This is a great product if applied according to instructions. I first pressure washed my patio that had been in place 31 years. Then I applied the clear primer and after drying thoroughly I applied the concrete stain with a paint roller. It has now been in place for two years, and the only touch up I have had to do this spring is to paint over the high traffic areas that were showing a little thinning. This is used with patio furniture on it, and in the winter I shovel snow off from it so I can feed the doves and quail that come daily to eat the feed that I scatter on it. So the movement of furniture, scraping of snow shovel and bird droppings has very minimal affect on this stain. Would recommend this to anyone!
