I’m a bit embarrassed to say that I’ve had this paint sitting at home for quite some time, with great intentions to use it when I first got it, but not getting to this job until now. I share this because I was half expecting the contents to be spoiled in some way, but to the contrary the contents looked like they just came off the assembly line, smooth and creamy and the color mixed together very nicely with just 30 seconds of moderate stirring. Although I am not suggesting it’s wise to buy paint so far in advance, my instinct says the product is made of quality ingredients, although reading the reviews posted by others I suppose it’s hard to say.
My paint project was a side-entry unpainted concrete slab that gets little traffic but is visible from the street. I first pressure washed the surface, then applied the epoxy primer, which went on very easily with a small roller and brush and dried clear (see pictures). I allowed the epoxy coat to dry a full day before applying the paint, which also went on very smoothly with a small roller and brush, and it seemed to offer very good coverage (I estimate I used only 4 - 6 oz to paint the 3’ x 4’ area). The surface of the slab was fairly smooth, with an occasional small hole or pockmark. The end result was very nice (see picture), and although I noticed a little streaking which I am confident would be eliminated with a second coat, I chose not to apply another coat now. The product label implies that often one coat is sufficient, but in any event not to apply more than 2 coats.
Being an oil-based product, paint thinner (or equivalent) is needed for cleanup. I used a disposable roller cover, and cleaned my brush with thinner, a pretty easy task.
Only time will tell how well the paint will hold up, as it will be exposed to a lot of sun, daily irrigation system water, dust and humidity. However my initial impression based upon this specific application is excellent.

If you are looking for a concrete floor paint that is easy to apply and holds up, this is the one for you. Painting the basement or garage floor gives your home a clean, high-end look and this epoxy paint really adheres without flaking or peeling. Follow the instructions and prep the floor as directed and you will see a beautiful result when you are finished. Follow our advice and get all of your tools when you purchase the paint (brush, rollers, etc).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MomtheBuilder Great Finish If Prep Work Done Correctly
Behr makes great products and the epoxy floor paint is no exception. As with all cement sealing/staining projects, proper preparation is necessary to ensure proper adhesion. The professionals will sweep, power wash, sand, re-wash, rinse, acid wash, rinse, and THEN apply epoxy. For me, a DIYer, I sweep, power wash with the strongest pressure on my hose, scrub with my orbital machine and brush, rewash and rinse, acid wash, rinse, and when dry at the right temps, apply the epoxy. Then it's time to let it cure before driving/walking/placing items on it. The prep work is intensive, but it will pay off in the end! Don't take shortcuts and you'll be happy with the result.

I cleaned the surface real good. Followed the instructions and it looked great untill I put the cars in the garage. The paint where the tire tracks were had come off. I only waited 3 days to drive on it. I should have waited 7 days. I went back to HD and bought another gallon. Cleaned and prepared the surface again, waited 7 days. Put the cars in and the paint came off again. Not very happy with the results, especially after the price I paid.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Engineer Best paint floor garage/mechanical room floors!!
This was a great quality paint. When dry, the color was even better than I had expected it would be. I am very pleased with this brand and personally recommend this for anyone who wants to protect and have their garage or mechanical room floors looking professionally clean.

So I used this to paint my 2-car-garage yesterday. I did minimum prep ( washed the floor with soap and hot water) and applied 2 layers.
I'm very happy with the out come. I'll buy this paint again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rich I highly recommend Behr Paint
The Behr paint covers well and meets the high expectations I already have for Behr products, having used them for years now. I use Behr for both inside and outside projects. My first experience was with Behr's exterior paint for the outside of my house. Amazingly, it lasted well over 10 years. I repainted this year and for the most part, the original Behr paint I had applied approx. 14 years ago was still in great condition. I would definitely recommend Behr paint to others and have, in fact, done so numerous times.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DC Should have stained it like I estimated it, but the customer wanted epoxy
I am a 20 year contractor. When we finish concrete, we generally stain it. I gave a customer/friend a quote to stain their garage floor and they decided they wanted an epoxy type finish instead. We cleaned the concrete, etched it properly, power washed it down very well, used Behr's bonding primer and 2 opposing top coats of 1 part epoxy. I made the customer wait over 2 weeks for heavy use. Held up fine under foot, but the customer pulled their car into the garage yesterday and it pulled up the coating in many and multiple spots where the tires tracked. Should have known, but I haven't used an epoxy in years and I love Behr's Solid Concrete Stain Products. Now what? Why make a product for garages that does not adhere or work? I will probably have to strip all of it and then stain it. Arduous, a hassle, and will probably cost me money. It looked good when I was done with it, but it seems I just wasted my time and the customer's money.
