Answer:
Hi Chance,
Yes, you can apply a second coat of 1-Part Epoxy on top of the chips. You want to make sure you don't have any chips that are loose, and the surface is clean before applying your second coat. Best wishes for your project! - Sara

Answer:
yes, but keep in mind that the chips will be covered if they are the color flake kind. Just be sure to let the first coat cure well; at least 5-7 days and make sure it is clean and or dust free before applying another coat. Don't use soap solutions to clean. Plain water or a bleach solution works fine

Answer:
Yes
It works real well because it is an epoxy base paint
Just clean the floor good with avnon- soap cleaner like bleach
Scrape any chips
Make sure no oil or grease spots
After you apply the one part epoxy let it cure 5-7 days before putting things back
Foot traffic is ok after 24 hours even though it my dry sooner
Remember this is an epoxy base paint so let it cure

Hi Phil,
Thanks for writing in with your question! The 1-Part Epoxy can be used on a previously painted surface- as long as it's in good condition; if it is peeling or chipping, it's best to strip the paint before etching and priming the bare concrete. Hope this helps, and good luck on your project! Best, Jeanette P.

Answer:
Hello JET,
Thanks for your interest in our 1-Part Epoxy. In order to apply a clear coat over it, we would recommend waiting at least 24 hours. That way, it has dried enough so that moisture is not going to prevent adhesion of the topcoat. Hope this helps. Well wishes!

Answer:
This is one part epoxy paint
Let it cure fior 5-7 days
Remember, once you put a clear coat on it you in essence stop the full curing process of the epoxy
I would wait days not hours

The porch is painted now but some of the paint is chipping off. Do I need to scrape the old paint off or will this cover it? Also is this paint okay to use outdoors?

Answer:
HI Mike,
Thanks for your question! The 1-Part Epoxy can certainly be used on a concrete porch. If the current paint is peeling in more than one area, then it's best to remove as much of it as possible. Then, etch and prime the bare concrete before recoating. This will help set your project up for a long lasting finish. Hope this helps, and good luck! Best, Jeanette P.

If you have some concerned areas Home Depot sell a paint called Gripper or 1-2-3 primer. Just get a quart and put some over any concerned areas. Save the rest because it works well on tile if you want to paint versus replace

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely unsatisfied with the results! Painted my garage floor, following the instructions, and the product did not uphold to the claims. Experienced hot tire pick up the very first time we parked back in the garage after waiting 10 days after the floor was painted! Even my dogs toenails picked the paint, not from "digging" at the paint but just where she sleeps. I will look for another product to use. I would not suggest this product for potential customers and will probably not consider Behr products for any of my painting needs in the future. September 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pure junk Stay away from this product. Easy to apply and good coverage. Paint scratches and peels with car tires. July 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My Basement Good product, dry fast and no odors. I painted my Basement floor and looks great July 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Gray 1-part Epoxy Concrete and Garage Floor Paint I used this product and followed the directions precisely. I waited at least 10 days before driving in the garage. I also used the flakes which I regret. Deferent area in garage are peeling up and a lot of flakes are being distributed throughout the house much to my wife's displeasure. I am really getting no where with Behr. I have to say I have used other products from Behr for walls with good results. However, they should stick to walls and forget floors. I should have stayed with Rustoleum. October 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This paint is complete garbage. This paint is complete garbage. I followed instructions to the letter and even applied 2 coats and nothing but tire treads and marks from anything like trash barrels place on the garage floor. At $33 a gallon, I expected a better quality of paint and wished that i had read the bad reviews before buying (62 one star reviews) the 65 5 star reviews had to be written by company employees of Behr. Now I have more work sealing this junk paint and starting over with something else. I would never use Behr paint again and glad I did not buy it to paint my house. In my opinion Behr paint is over price and is about the quality of Wal-Mart’s cheapest paint. January 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EPOXY PAINT BY BEAR This is a fabulous new product. I have purchased this product over fifty times now. Bear's Epoxy paint is a 100% Water block, it holds up as good as an Oil Base Paint used to, it's easy to apply, little smell and dries as fast as any latex based paint does. This is a HOME RUN for Home Depot. I have used this paint on everything and it has proven to be FABULOUS! October 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Dissappointing Product I followed the directions to the letter. Scrubbed and Cleaned the garage floor. Used the recommended etching product and primer. Then I waited 10 days before parking the car on it. The product went on nicely. Coverage was great. The problem is that my car tires pull the paint off down to the concrete. I ended up having to put down pads to park the car on and it looks ridiculous. The bicycle kickstands chip the paint off. Any tool I've dropped on it has chipped it! I am totally disappointed in this product. I have always used Behr Paints in the past and been very pleased. This one is definitely the exception. I absolutely hate this product! August 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Behr Epoxy Concrete/Garage Floor Paint I love the gray color and it went on very well. It dries really fast too. However, after I parked a couple of times in the garage, it started pealing up! I had to go back and buy the sealer too. That made the difference! Now it has even more of a shine, & it isn't pealing up. October 18, 2016
