This paint is complete garbage. I followed instructions to the letter and even applied 2 coats and nothing but tire treads and marks from anything like trash barrels place on the garage floor. At $33 a gallon, I expected a better quality of paint and wished that i had read the bad reviews before buying (62 one star reviews) the 65 5 star reviews had to be written by company employees of Behr. Now I have more work sealing this junk paint and starting over with something else. I would never use Behr paint again and glad I did not buy it to paint my house. In my opinion Behr paint is over price and is about the quality of Wal-Mart’s cheapest paint.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Garage floor shows tire treads and is blistering
After following the prep, I applied one coat and let dry the 72 hours. Within 1 week of driving on it, I had tire treads covering my entire parking spots. I returned to HD and the paint department sold me a degreaser for the tread marks and told me to apply anther coat and seal with clear coat sealer. However, this time to allow 14 days to cure. I followed their instructions and now I have several spots that are blistering and pealing.
I showed this to a professional painter who was painting the home next to me. He told me the paint had failed and it needed to be sand blasted off and then repainted. He gave me a name of a paint he used for driveways and garage floor which was about $50 per gallon. He sated it had never peal or showed tire marks. The painter also stated that he does not use Behr paints unless his customers require it.
I did return to the HD paint department and show them my photos and to inform them what happened. I was told that I must have done something wrong. This was not right because I followed their instructions. I am out a total of $70 for the paint and cost of rollers and sealer. HD does not stand behind their products or honor their warranty so I will no longer shop with them.
I hate wasting time writting reviews but hope I can save a few people form what happened to me. Also, notice that 52 percent of reviews of this paint were bad so why is the company not fixing it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mike I got a bad mix and it cost me.
I bought this product for my basement workshop floor. Initially it went down fine. I noticed it had what I thought was a texturized in it, a grit which kind of surprised me. So, I kept stirring as I went. A third a way into the can the paint started to clump up on my roller. The clumps went onto the floor. I tried sweeping the clumps out as I went. By the time I got to half a gallon, the paint had the consistency of oat meal. I went a little bit longer but obviously something was wrong. Back to home Depot. They shook up and opened a fresh can and it was pure paint, no grit. There was something wrong with the can I bought. They asked if it was stored in the cold. It was in my 68 degree basement the whole time. Home Depot refunded my money and has a greed to let me use one of there rental buffers with sanding disks to get the lumps out of my floor. Behr is getting of easy. I should hire someone to clean up the mess, then send them the bill. Always have the paint salesman open your can and check for consistency before you leave the store.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Boiler1999 Great paint for garage floor if you clean & plan on covering the area where the car parks on a garage floor mat.
I purchased this paint for a one-car garage that I planned to just paint the areas where the foot traffic would be as well as some storage. The area where the car would be parked would be covered by a garage floor mat to avoid hot tire marks. I was worried that the paint would peel after the reviews I've read and almost didn't paint the garage after all the prep work I did. Happy I decided to test it out for myself. The coverage is nice as well as the finish. I also used flakes in the paint due to the fiberglass fibers in my concrete.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Realist Thoughtful limitations on use and expectations
I think this paint is great on basement floors. It is easy to apply and covers all kinds of nasty imperfections, spills, stains, rust, etc. Some gloss variations. I think these are due to different absorption. I did not prime and floor had many issues. The surface, even after a few days is relatively soft and it will black shoe mark and scuff up. I think it best used in low traffic areas. Our 3,000 square foot basement was a disgusting mess (just bought the house and the basement was a victim of water pipe breaks, bad contractors, paint spills, messes, rust stains, spiders, cobwebs, vermin, and assorted disasters. It now looks like an operating suite. The paint will stick to anything, mud, hands, dirt, rust, old concrete, new concrete, shoes, plastic, leather, dead mice, steel. It is however a low gloss, soft surface.
I think for garages, and the comments of others would bear this out (perhaps Behr this out), it is a bad idea. You are likely to be disappointed. There is some odd combination of temperature, materials, weight, rubber solvents, etc. which seemingly make tire pick up one of the great mysteries in painting.
The comments and disappointments, even anger, seem to correlate with basement light traffic (pleased). And garage car parking (displeased).
I was pleased but I had modest expectations. I went from nightmare on Elm street, the nastiest basement I ever saw that was not an actual dirt floor, to an ICU unit surgical suite. You could eat off the floor, just don't, in my opinion, park on it.
Best of luck.

Great for covering your garage floor....but hot tire pickup spots. Must acid sketch first for stick. I would try rustoleum brand

I am a general contractor and have always recommend behr products to customers. I prepped, primed, and waited the 72hrs. After I moved everything in my garage, had a neighbor over and had a beer In the garage. I looked down and the paint is coming off where my neighbor is standing. I looked under my shoes and it was the same. We have had low humidity and warm temps since we applied it. NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

I was unlucky enough to buy my floor paint while the Behr rep was at the store to steer me in that direction. The paint absorbs anything that touches it and will not come clean. I should have known better than to buy a one part epoxy. There is no such thing no matter what anyone says. It's been on for over a month so I know it's dry. Still trying to clean off foot prints and tire tracks. My friend painted his with the two part kit from rustolium and his still looks perfect and cleans easily. I just hope it will stick to this stuff. Should....everything thing else does.
