Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Carman This product is horrible and ruined my new patio!
I followed the instructions to the letter. The patio was dry for at least four days prior, I applied it when there was no direct sunlight, the temperatures were in the recommended range and I used a roller with the recommended knapp depth. My $3000 patio looks horrible with white patches and streaks all over it and appears to be ruined. I wish I had read the customer reviews prior to application. I spent four hours cleaning (one week prior), blowing off any debris, and applying this product. This was back breaking work and the sealer cost me over $60. In my opinion this has either ruined my patio or will cost me a lot of extra money to correct. I see where Behr recommends that if this happens you should purchase their stripper and start over. WHAT! Spend more money on products to correct the problems already caused by a faulty product. This product should be removed from the market. It looks like I may need to spend hundreds of dollars now to hire a contractor to correct this mess! The patio now looks horrible!!!!!

I have nothing positive to say about this product. My reason is...I read a lot of reviews. Prep work was described as being the most important part before applying this product. I focussed on cleaning the patio properly. I pressure washed completely two different days. I used the leaf blower to make sure nothing loose on the patio. I then applied to a small section. Thank god it was just a small section. 2' x 6'. I let it dry. I did everything I was suppose to do. It just applied a white coat on the brick. Took away from the color. Low Luster not. A white luster. Not clear after it dried. It was a pain to take out and left white stains on the patio. Look at pictures. Gonna try using the wet look sealer.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ChiTown Used on Old Interior Brick
After purchasing a condo in a 100+ year old building, I noticed the interior brick dry, crumbling and shedding dust everyday. The reviews on this product made me hesitant, but I tried to follow the instructions/tips as best I could.
Prepping the brick alone was a challenge in itself (lots of dust). I decided to use the a throwaway pray bottle and paint brush for application. Note: The product does go on milky white when thick, but I made sure to brush into a thin coat. The process was surprisingly quick. For the majority of the brick, the final result was perfect. A subtle shine/wet look that really brought out the colors in the brick.
I highly recommend this sealer for interior brick. Pro tip: preparation is key, and make sure to tarp everything. It's a messy job!

No issues to milkiness after adding a second coat, but had to work fast before the sun hit the interlocking pavers.

I used this sealer on my patio pavers (1000sq.ft.). I was very cautious and followed all instructions and still ended up with a milky looking surface. Some of the gallons would not mix - chunks of white pasty material did not dissolve .I would not recommend this to anyone.... it's pricy, labor intense and has a temper. I never write reviews... this is the first, because I did not want anyone else to have the issues I encountered. I'm sure there were people who used this product and all the stars aligned, which gave them the desired results... It wasn't me.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Kkel Ruined our patio pavers!!!
We had the same problem I see now after reading other reviews. This product turned a milky white on our beautiful pavers that were not cheep by all means!!! A year later it is wearing off in higher traffic areas and looks terrible! Has anyone found a product that will strip this off? If so Please post it here, I'm still looking for something....:(

Like others, I followed the less than specific instructions. Left a milky residue all over my floor. I called Behr and without hesitation they sent me everything to fix it. This meant stripping everything and starting over. It was almost too easy for Behr to "fix it". I didn't strip it. But I fixed it my way and didn't use the sealer again. Don't Use This Product!!!!!

Easy to use and looks great when dried but doesn't actually seal against moisture.
