Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Behr 2 Part Epoxy I have used this product a couple times before with limited problems with the product. It has been inconsistant with getting the same results or each can is a little different. We followed the instructions to the letter. Our customer on this last job with this product called me and told me the floor was coming up and not just under the tires but all over. I will not use this product again and will not accept work with the Behr products. I now have to go through the warranty paperwork to prove it was a bad product and in order to get refunds on products we used and new product to redo. Bad product makes my business look bad too. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BEHR 2-part epoxy floor Paint SKU# 102364 Pro's - good color selection, liked the additional color selections as I did not want to use the flake chips ( try to find a small screw or nail accidently dropped on a rough multicolor surface), adheres well on a properly prepared surface. Cons - This water based coating is very thin, approx 2 mills in comparison to a real epoxy finish that is 9 to 16 mills. it does not fill any rough areas in the concrete (used a pressure washer to prep the surface which ate away the smooth finish in problem areas). final appearance same as a thin stain. floor chips easily since the coating is so thin. will now have to purchase a real epoxy clear seal to finish the floor, so my cost just doubled. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality for the price. Note I would suggest you buy an additional bag of the color flake. September 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Careful with this one! We purchased two of these, in the Tan color. The labels were slightly different, but the color code was the same: 955. However, the product inside was VERY different. One came out ok, the other, a disaster requiring a redo of the whole job. In the good one, the paint in the container contains the tan colorant, ie, the paint is tan. In the bad one, the paint was white, and the colorant was actually in the epoxy can. The colorant had hardened and I had to dig it out of the can. It took a good 25-30 min of stirring to mix it. It came out a noticeably different color and sheen. But the worst part, it remains water soluble even 3 weeks after application. If it gets wet, it softens and comes right off! Totally Defective Product! So make sure you check the color of the paint inside the container - if it's white, DON"T BUY IT!!! For both containers the coverage was less than the label stated (which is why we had to buy a second one). May 24, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not Sure it is Worth your Money When you open the box, you’ll notice that the kit includes a powder acid mix, sprinkles for the floor, a brush, a roller head, a roller tray attachment for the box, a mixing stick, and a quart of “applicator,” which is essentially the color. After cleaning the floor, you add the applicator to the white paint, which just sits in the front of the box with no cover beyond the outside box cover. However, I stress that this is a small amount of paint. The box is misleading. It says it covers 250 square feet, but because of the porous nature of the acid etched concrete, it only covers roughly half of that area. If you want to complete your project, you’ll have to buy another kit (I have a one car garage). They don’t sell the 2-part epoxy by itself. They just sell the one part. My wife and had had to run over to Home Depot to buy another kit so the floor could dry at the same time. Unfortunately, after taxes, those kits come out to about $78 each. At least we have an extra brush, roller head, sprinkles, and acid mix for another project. The floor looks nice, but the whole kit system needs to be improved. I just wish they sold a larger kit for say $120 instead of forcing people to buy two. Beware: if you’re on a tight budget, $78 is expensive for 120 square feet, $156 is much more. July 14, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product that secured me 3 more jobs Great product easy to use and a professional finish August 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wore off in 3 months I followed all the directions on the pkg, the floor turned out wonderful. I did that this summer, now winter is finished and almost all the finish is worn off right where the car sits. I'm so diappointed! March 17, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your time and money with this rubbish Purchased two of these kits for our two-car garage after the Behr representative at the store talked us into it. I had read poor reviews about this product and was going to buy a different concrete paint, but the guy talked me into it and that's my fault. Followed all instructions and applied the paint to the concrete floor. It looked great and it was easy to apply, dried fast. Instructions said not to walk/put anything in the garage for 3 days. Did that. We had some paint left over and we used it on a concrete walkway (covered area). In less than a week, the paint is already peeling off. What a disappointment. I'm going to have to purchase a sealer before the whole thing comes off. If the paint had stuck, it would be a good product. October 24, 2012
