Answer:
Hello Hammerman,
Thank you for your interest in our products. You can apply our concrete decorative flakes with our Porch and Patio Floor Paint. We fist recommend applying our Porch & Patio Floor Paint and as soon as its applied, then you can apply the flakes while the coating is still wet.
Best regards,
Kevin

Hi Hammerman,
This is paint and spread thin as paint so i think you can't put the "chips" on it(or in it). To work with chips i think you need epoxy based paint . If you search on the HD website or Lowes , you will find that kind of paint which works with chips. They sell whole package (Primer, paint and chips).
Thanks,
Hiren

Answer:
Hello ray,
We appreciate your question. I would have to recommend against this application with Behr products since none of our coatings are designed for OSB flooring. Doing so may lead to issues like cracking or peeling. I can only suggest checking with Home Depot for another brand's coating that would be suited to your project needs. Best wishes!

Painting a lighter color over a red cement porch

This question is from 1-gal. #PFC-56 Pools of Blue Low-Lustre Porch and Patio Floor Paint

I got most of the 5 layers of paint off my cement porch that previous owners had painted. Then I used the masonry primer and painted it barron red with the Behr concrete paint. The red is striking but it looks like a bloodbath on my porch, and I'd like to paint something more subtle - light grey perhaps. I really don't have it in me to strip the red paint. Can I use a lighter color low-lustre porch / patio paint with the multisurface primer to cover it? Or am I one weekend away from a pink porch?

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your question! There's no need to remove the red paint before you apply the lighter color. After the red paint has completely cured (this takes up to 4 weeks), we recommend lightly sanding the surface to de-gloss it, and then cleaning the area before priming with our Premium Plus Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer. After you've primed, you can go ahead and apply the new color. Good luck Read More

1-gal. #PFC-68 Silver Gray Low-Lustre Porch and Patio Floor Paint is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old Sheet Vinyl Floor Fix After cleaning the floor withTSP, I applied two coats of primer, two coats of Behr Porch and Patio floor paint in silver gray low lustre, and one coat of the ultra white gloss porch and patio floor paint stenciled on top. I had to order the paint online to get these colors and finishes. The paint was easy to apply with rollers and had little odor. I followed the guidelines for drying times. You can recoat after 4-6 hours depending on climate and need to wait 72 hours before normal use. I thought this would be a good interim fix until it is time to install a new floor. I am very satisfied with results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great so far... Sanded off an old layer of paint on the deck of the house we purchased two years ago. Put down two coats of Behr Low-Lustre enamel. Looks beautiful. The finish survived summer and fall very well, but will wait a year before making final judgments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than stain!!! After properly cleaning and applying the multi-surface primer and sealer as recommended, the porch and patio paint applied easily, dried fast and so far withstood hot summer sun and winter snow and ice. Also remarkably withstood our small dog's urination on the staircases. The nonskid floor finish additive greatly reduced slipping with rain, ice and snow. Wonderful product, will definitely use again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing better than Behr Nothing better than Behr-yes;but as far as I know nothing equals Premium Porch and Floor Enamel. Exacting preparation is not necessary as this paint fills and hides most surface flaws. The paint goes on smoothly and comes in a multitude of colors at a reasonable price.. By far, the best product of it's kind. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasting Durability We all know how outdoor decks can be a high maintence item (especially in a climate like Minnesota). I was looking for an alternative to staining every year or two. In addition, the cracks in my deck boards were getting wider/deeper, wood-knots were falling out, etc. After considering options, I decided to try the Behr Porch & Patio Floor Paint. As you can see in the attached picture ... the results are excellent. It is worth noting that this picture was taken THREE YEARS AFTER APPLICATION, and it still looks great. Also worth noting is that I took the time to thoroughly prep the deck boards by using an exterior grade filler to repair the cracks and knot holes. My next project will be my garage floor. Not sure if I'll stain the concrete or use the epoxy paint, but will definitely be looking at the Behr products for application.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pool deck refresh Living in Arizona, I own a pool and the low lustre porch and patio paint has been great to refresh the textured cement deck surface around the pool. It has a superior bond and a very durable finish. Only issues I come across is the color will fade after a couple years. I would like to see the paint enhanced with UV protection and chlorinated pool water resistance. I believe this would make it an exceptional patio paint. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deck looks like new We used Porch and patio for our outside deck which hadn't been done in about 5 years so was very worn and weathered. We changed the color as well to a grey from cedar. The look was amazing and already we are getting compliments. Love it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rookie Patio Painter We moved into a house in Florida where nothing had been painted in the 14 years since it had been built. The patio and screened porched floors are a textured coating designed to feel cooler, and the paint was faded and wearing off. I was going to hire someone to paint it, but we were having a few days of unusually low humidity so timing was everything. I used a roller on a long rod for most of it, and applying this paint on could not have been easier. It looks fabulous in a new color and has already held up to heavy rainstorms and hot sun.
