We mistakenly used a topical sealant the first time, lasted 2 years and then power washed and used the BEHR 980 Neutral one coat for the last 7 years or so. We recently decided to reapply a new coat, power wash, and prepare so the new layer can be applied. The concrete cleaned to like new after 7 years of aging and Kentucky hot summers & icy winters with salt and cinders used and ground in. We used about 4 buckets of 5 gallon bucket size the first time that are next to impossible to get now. Great product, and this next coat or coats are driveway maintenance only for us, as we will retire soon and will be in place to make our driveway attractive and a selling point for quite some time.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Snowbird Utilized on driveway apron and garage floor to minimize winter salt damage. Application and spreading was easily accomplished with roller on a broom extension. Areas of application have a lighter appearance than untreated areas. Recent rain has shown significant beading on the treated surfaces. Current surfaces are not slippery, but concerned that sub-freezing temperatures will require monitoring during winter months, if surface is not sufficiently porous. Applied in early October.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TomB worked great
Applied 10 gallons to over 2,000 sq ft of hard scape: concrete patio with slate border and concrete wall caps. Used professional grade equipment: power washer to clean and sprayer to apply. Used 2 coats. Looks great after 1 month following high heat and rain. I recommend using a sprayer not roller. I used rollers in the past with other sealers and its messy, does not apply evenly and just does not look good. I hired an experienced painter (did my house) to spray on the sealer. It was worth paying the extra money for this skill. I still saved tons $$ compared to the quotes I was getting from "professional" concrete sealing contractors.

The product is fine, a little watery for me and zero notice once down. The Behr Premium Waterproofer is very thin in consistency and looks like you are applying white water. Goes fast as well, on a post power washed concreate walk and pool deck. To do both used about 8 gallons at $20.00 a gallon. I would have liked it if the 5 gallon bucket gave a cost break from the one gallon containers. On the upside, did half the pool deck and it rained, you could see clearly the side sealed and the side needing sealing. Next time I will try SuperSeal25.

This is really easy stuff to use for concrete waterproofing. I used it on my poured concrete deck that was becoming porous over the years of weather exposure. I checked it after our recent rainfall and it looks like it did the job. Cleanup is a breeze also.

I bought this sealer to seal my acid stained stamped concrete patio. I followed the directions to a T. No where on the jug does it say this product is not compatable with acid stained concrete. I had to completely strip my patio and reseal it with L&M dress & sealer. You must use a high VOC/ solvent based sealer on acid stained concrete! I learned the hard way.

I have bricks which have chronically had green algae / moss growing on them. I've tried a few waterproofing things in the past to no avail. I was looking for a waterproofing product I could apply with a jug sprayer and this fit the bill. I was confused if I should try one of the waterproofers in the gallon can but it seemed that with a rough brick surface I didn't want a paint-like product. I liked that it has a 10yr warranty and I'm keeping the receipt in case I need to reapply. I applied a bleach solution, pressure-washed, and waited for 3 hot dry days. I used a jug sprayer until it soaked it and surface residue showed, then used a deck brush to mop spread out the residue. I then waited another 2 days and reapplied a second coat which immediately left a surface residue but I worked it in again. The liquid goes on a milky color but disappears in an hour or so. I was going to apply a 3rd coat of wet look sealer but the rains hit before I could do that but a small area I tested didn't look much different (I think that the rough surface won't achieve the wet look). I am relieved to see that there's a nice beading of water on the surface - see photo. Only time will tell if it keeps beading and avoids the algae but the 10yr warrantee will come in handy.

Thought I had a stubborn roof leak but it turned out to be a poorly constructed red brick chimney - - it had a water penetration problem. Water was percolating through the mortar - - eventually damaging my ceiling and walls inside. This product went on easily - - 2 coats applied with an inexpensive garden sprayer - - it soaked right in - - it did not change brick color and it did not damage or discolor my asphalt shingle roofing. Since applying we've had multiple heavy rains - - problem solved.
