This is the worst product. It is NOT a stain. It is like a paint that peals up very easily. Covers nice but does not stain at all. When it peals up, even with just your fingernail, it leaves the concrete looking exactly as it did before it was applied. I want Home Depot to pay for the labor to remove this now. Terrible terrible product.

Terrible product. We stained our concrete patio with this product as an alternative to stamped concrete. Got lots of compliments on it initially but it started to flake off that same year. It is so bad that just rinsing the patio with a garden hose would make it peel in places. After two years of looking at this hideous mess I rented a pressure washer which took most but not all of the stain off. Now I'm left with a patchy mess. The only way to save the patio is to have professional resurface the entire thing. Would never buy another Behr product again. For those that seem to think this is a good product..please follow up in a few months.

I applied this product after following the instructions to prepare the concrete explicitly. I used the Behr etching product before the stain and the Behr wet look sealer afterwards. Now after 5 months it is pealing and flaking. I regret not taking the other reviewers advice. I honestly assumed they got a bad result because their application was sloppy. But I can tell you from personal experience, even if you do everything 100% perfectly, it will still fail on you in about 6 months.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MBW49 Horrible product! Behr should issue refund for it.
This product is a waste of $400! Between the so called stain and the wet look sealer and accessories, we basically threw our money away. We did a newly poured patio which cured more than the appropriate length of time and, at first it looked beautiful. Then it rained about week after it had been sealed. As it was raining it bubbled up in places. Then as it dried the "stain" peeled right off where it had bubbled. Now, four months later, I have large white splotches of bare concrete. I would never ever recommend this product to anyone! A rating of zero stars would be given if I could!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by jacksilvia I hate this product
Yes I skimped on value, instead of buying acid stain, I went with the Behr Semi-Transparent Stain. I stained all the floors in my house with it; I love the color, but almost immediately it started peeling. Now after living on the floor for three months it looks pitiful. Yes, I followed all instructions and yet it didn't matter. I have over 25yrs experience in painting and construction and in those years I have used products that didn't live up to what it said it would do and this is one of them. I will never use this again for my personal use or for any customer. I will also steer anyone I see away from this product.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by M007 Terrible results. Not as described
This product is not semi transparent. Like others who wrote a review about this product, it looks like watered down paint. The brochures are very misleading. Even the sales associates were recommending the product but it looks nothing like it's supposed to. Now it's time to redo the garage and go with epoxy. Do not waste your time, energy and your money on this product. It does not deliver.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ColinMc As Good as Surface is Receptive
I was concerned about all the negative reviews for ALL brands of concrete stain. I have a brushed (rough surface) covered exterior patio that I stained with the Behr product last week. Sprayed it on with the recommended sprayer available for $20 at Home Depot along with the stain. Results appear excellent. If you have a very smooth concrete surface I doubt you will have results as satisfactory.

This is a great product. If you are creative you can make your concrete look like natural stone. You have to take multiple colors, starting with a lighter color as a base then add darker colors with a sponge. You can make veins and ridges that look like natural stone. finish with a tooth brush and sprinkle black stain at the last by putting some black on the tooth brush then flick on to make tiny black spots.
