I installed this product on stamped concrete strictly in accordance with the instructions on the bottle and it left large milky white patches all over the area covered. It looks horrible and my whole terrace has been ruined! I've has estimates from $1,000 to $1,800 to remove the white coating, and then I will have to start over to resell everything. Behr won't do anything.

We have used the water based Behr 98501 Wet Look sealer for over 15 years, applying a fresh coat with sponge every year. No white steaks, works perfectly for us ... Love that Wet Look!!!
As an added tip never apply the Wet Look Sealer directly to stone or tile, always start by using a penetrating sealer first, then the Wet Look. If you can read ... yes the instructions do tell you this, I suspect this is where people are running into issues. We used the Behr 98001, confusingly they call it a Protector and Waterproofer, but actually it is a water based penetrating sealer. Initially it took the entire gallon of the 98001 to seal 160 square feet, the slate sucked it up like a straw. After that we applied 4 "light coats" of the 98501. As long as you add a fresh coat or 2 of the Wet Look every year, you never need to use the penetrating sealer ever again.
We are on our 3rd gallon of Behr Wet Look after 15 years, only issue is our slate was very slippery when wet. Solution was to add some Seal-Krete Clear Grip, just the right amount of anti-skid and its totally transparent.
3 great products ... if used as advertised.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PugbullyMom pavers and paper floors, oh my!
I used this 3 years ago for my hand made pavers (about 1200 of them) which have been out back in full sun ever since. My latest project has been paper bag (brown torn paper) flooring over an existing concrete covered porch . so far so good with 4, yes 4 coats. I changed my initial application and found pouring it directly on to the floor and smoothing it out with a foam pad-like tool to coat the entire surface worked much better than other methods that I had tried. We are getting ready to do concrete floors inside but I must admit I'm a little nervous to use this on such a large project after reading the other reviews, that being said I think for smaller projects this stuff works great. Don't forget to do a test patch on your project first as well.

I had my patio looking great! Then I thought to put the second coat on after waiting 4 hours 80 degree weather too... It has chaulky lines where I rolled it in places and chaulky in other places!!!! So disappointed don't know how to fix this this!!!! It was so much work up to the point of putting the sealer on and having it turn out like that! I even tried scrubbing the lines off and didn't come up!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by mls5776 HORRIBLE.
After taking great care to clean our concrete patio to near perfection, I applied the first coat using a roller. It looked fine. Knew we wanted at least one more coat, so waited the recommended 4 hours to reapply. Second coat went on with a frothy, milky residue that I was hoping would dry clear. It did not. Not only did it dry with white streaks, but also looks matte in those areas. I'm beyond disappointed. This product should be off the shelves. Absolutely horrible. One star because the first coat looked ok. Otherwise, zero stars.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by stonecold Ruined my new floor!
This sealer should be taken off the market. Who knows how much property damage it has caused homeowners! It has ruined my kitchen and bathroom stone floor. Brand new floors! They were beautiful! I worked my guts out to make the money to have them stoned. Waited 10 years to get new floors only to have the final step be the ruination of the whole thing. I've cried. It's made me sick. I will never use another Behr product.
