Answer:
Dear Juncho,
Our Solid Color and Semi-Transparent Concrete Stains can be used on porous pool deck surfaces. We do recommend that you go with a light or pastel color as darker colors will retain heat.
Thank you for the inquiry!

Answer:
Hello Juncho!
Behr Technical Support (1-800-854-0133 ext 2) says you can use this product on pool decks, but cautions that, "pool decks treated with this product may be slippery when wet."
Two coats may be required to obtain an even color.

I have floor tile with 1/4 grout. Some parts of the tile grout have a light whitish efflorescent haze and others do not and are a darker bone/tan color. I like the whitish look. Can a light coat of this product be used to lighten the darker grout?

Answer:
Hello and thanks for your question. No, BEHR Solid Color Concrete Stain is for porous concrete and masonry surfaces only. Also, the stain would not able to lighten a dark color.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Product! As a Contractor I was looking for a way to create that mottled look of an acid-based stain(of which I'm not sure you can find anymore in Ca.)and having used Behr Products for years decided to try the Solid Concrete Stain. Well look at the photos! Product was applied to faded colored concrete with a few calcified and eroded surface areas. Entire area was prepped(power washed, etched, rinsed, neutralized, power washed again)which is key, and allowed to dry. Stain was then applied in several thin coats using 4 colors from the Behr chart. This product is thin, it's not paint so do not apply as such. Product adhered perfectly to surface, dried quickly, and subsequent coats bit nicely into each other. Successful project, product works & looks fantastic. Definitely recommend and will use again! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beauty on a Budget I bought a house that had cheap, yellowed vinyl floor tile that had to go! I'm on a really tight budget and decided to pull up the tile and paint the floor. I wasn't sure what I would get but anything would be better than what I had. I used the Behr conrete stain in my living room and I am so pleased with it. I'm going to use it in a bedroom next. Since I live in the desert I need something that is easy care and this is. There is such a wide range of colors and the finsih is quite durable. I only needed a gallon to do my living room and it will be the same for the bedroom. It doesn't get better than that! October 15, 2009
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GreatProduct !! Our home is 3 years old and the front porch being gray concrete need some help. Applied Bonding Primer per instructions followed by two coats of Solid Concrete Stain, what a difference! Read the instruction, take your time and you'll be thrilled with the results. March 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by concrete stain (BEHR) I have use this stain in the past me and my husband marked out 24x24" grid pattern on our cement foundation in our family room. Then took a saw with a grinding blade and etched out 1/4 inch deep on the grid pattern to give the elusion of large tile. I used three different stains for the color. Then actually used watered down grout to fill in the lines. and then used sealer for top coat. Freinds and family believe it is real tile. We have already etched our entry way and want to stain that to.If planing on trying this I would advise tarping off to other parts of the house the dust gets every where. August 3, 2009
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst paint ever! I followed the instructions for applying this paint to the letter - I am an engineer - and a year later, this is what I have: see the attached pictures!! This is the worst paint I've ever used - it does not do what it claims to do. Basically, it's a waste of money and now I'll have to incur extra costs to remove the mess it left behind on my driveway..! February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Concrete Stain This stain was easy to use and covers well. I bought the concrete color to paint my bulkhead and keep it from getting so mildew covered, needing power washing every spring. Then I covered it with the Behr low-luster sealer. It looks great. I just love Behr. February 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not good for driveways I live in Florida and bought this to paint my boat landing and seawall, it worked great for that. I then decided to paint my driveway with the same thing but it is a disaster, after weeks of drying I still have tire stains even if the car is there for only a few minutes. Leaving a car for hours results in the whole area under the tire sticking to the tire when a car is moved. I prepped the driveway very well before applying so it is the paint. Just not strong enough for a driveway, good for patios and other areas not parked on. June 6, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Worse NOW! My husband and I followed all the directions to prep, stain, and seal our enclosed front porch concrete. You see what this product is doing now - scratching off. We only walk and sweep this porch and it looks WORSE than it did before. If I could give it a "0," I would. December 28, 2015
