We had our cedar mail box post broken when a vehicle hit it, and would like to replace the brace piece with a 4X4 treated wood (not cedar), and would like to stain so it looks more like the upright and brace piece post.

Answer:
Hi Todd, thank you for your question. This product is toned and has a natural and subtle cedar color. We recommend testing the color on a small hidden area before starting the project to make sure the color matches the mail box. Be sure to follow all back label instructions and best of luck on your project.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful color Our project turned out beautifully. The color was the best match to what we needed. Application was so easy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the results Extremely pleased with this product. T-129 Chocolate was the color I choose and was a bit apprehensive after the application. Directions advised 72 hours to cure and once the time had lapsed the color was perfect. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Reliable Wood Finish Product Refinished the 2 decks in my backyard last weekend. I have been using the Behr premium transparent weatherproofing Cedar Naturaltone no. 501 product for many years. Each application has continued to provide protection for many years. Cleanup is a breeze. I would highly recommend it to all. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth it, EVER! Worst product ever. The stain is already peeling!!! It's not even been a full year. Our deck is old and we spent several weekends cleaning and preparing our wrap around deck, including pressure washing. We did this last summer and applied 2 coats. In between the coats we waited a full 24 hours before the next coat. Now it's fully coming off. Some of our old wood was rotting so we had to replace them, clearly this horrible product cannot even work with brand new wood. Don't ever buy this product if you want it to last. I seriously want my money back because this product is not cheap and it didn't even do the job right. February 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't purchase this if you live in the NR Couple of issues with this stain. 1. Very difficult to apply, it had a lot of streaking. If you are familiar with Oil Stains, you will hate this stain. 2. Everywhere on the deck that was exposed to the rain is now pealing off the deck. The stain was applied on a new cedar deck in August, we had a lot rain this year in the NW and it is now March. That is 8 months. The good thing, we can strip it with house water pressure. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Deck Sealer Brought the redwood stain and sealer, my 15 year old deck looks brand new!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] April 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice finish! Great product! We stained a new deck with the Transparent Premium Weatherproofing all in One. It looks fabulous. We did use the prep liquid and then applied with a pad. We waited until we had a low humidity day. Unfortunately, the humidity here in Florida has been over 80% every day since 36 hours after we stained. It is still curing after 2 weeks. Looks great and can't wait for it to get done curing so we can enjoy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] January 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ruined new deck After great results with indoor Behr paints, we purchased & applied in September, 2014 Behr Premium Transparent Weatherproofing All-in-One Wood finish to cover our new (4 mo old) Cedar wood deck . Big mistake! Looked great for 2 months, but during the winter we noticed a few spots bubbling & peeling. By May, 1/3 the deck was peeling & rest looked good. Now we can't remove what stuck, but have bare wood on rest! Behr needs to stay with paint, not stains! August 8, 2015
