Answer:
When it's wet, you can clean with water and brush. When it's dry, you must use Kleen strip to remove it. It bonded really well to the clean surface.

Does this product bead water?

I have tried a small test with two coats, but the water doesn't exactly bead up. It doesn't seem to absorb as much as the untreated wood, but not completely water repellant. It also seems lighter in color than the pictures. Is this because I'm using the sample size? Is it the same as the gallon product?

Answer:
Hi rsp,
Thank you for your question! This product is a weather proofer. Some of the water may absorb in, but will evaporate out. The stain is inside the wood, protecting the wood. The color can vary depending on the texture, color, and application of the wood. The penetration of the product will depend on the porosity of the wood.

Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, you have the choice of 60 colors (see Exterior Wood Stains & Finishes color card). This product allows the wood grain and texture of the wood to show through. Hope this helps and best of luck on your project!

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 89 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for fencing After looking at all the options for a waterproofing product for my wooden fence I decided on Behr. Mainly, because I have had such great luck with the interior and exterior paints that I used so far. It applied easily, gave a nice color/look to fencing after applied and repelled the water well when I tested. Behr paints/stains [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very surprised at the finish It wasn't what I originally had wanted to use, but I'm glad I did. What a finish! Leaves the natural look of the wood and also gives it the tone that I wanted. More importantly, seals the wood for years as I live in a very hot and humid climate (Miami,FL). Not only am I pleased with this product, but my neighbors continue to compliment the finished look of the fence. I'm on a corner lot so everyone that drives by enjoys the look of my new fence. Thank Behr for providing us with this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New Deck Used Behr Premium to stain our new deck. It went on very easily and held its color extremely well as it dried. We were able to complete the 260 sq. ft. deck plus stairs with one gallon of stain. The deck looks beautiful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kitchen chairs redone Ended up putting just 2 coats on our kitchen chairs. Chairs were solid oak but very 1990's. We used the all in one to give it some protection from our three sons. Works great! Looks awesome! And easy to use. Just scuffed the chairs and they took the stain well. No complaints. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pergola Stain Great coverage and color. Easy to apply and holds up well. My yard gets the heat of the day from noon on. Have gotten many compliments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best ...so far I used the Weatherproofing on our small deck last year and it still looks great...fingers crossed as I now will be using on our 600 suqare foot deck this year. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Recommend it not be used on exposed horizontal surfaces Bought this stuff against my better judgement but girlfriend insisted that's what she wanted on the porch. I've used many Behr products and have been very satisfied with most of them. This is the exception. On exposed porch steps, it doesn't last a season without flaking, peeling, and just wearing off. Have had to retreat the steps every year. Where the porch deck is sheltered, it is holding up OK. Unlike oil based stains, it does not get absorbed into the wood but, rather, acts (and looks) like a thinned latex paint. If you have an exposed deck or any other exposed horizontal surface, I'd recommend you look elsewhere for an appropriate product, September 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best value for staining a fence We are staining our fence and are pleased with the color. It is also easy to apply and offers protection from the elements. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] March 16, 2016
