5 gal. #SC-106 Bordeaux Wood and Concrete Coating is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GIRLS DO IT TOO! I chose this shade of BEHR red for a new privacy fence and gates to separates the front and rear yards, because I was convinced it would coordinate well with the color of my new roof (which also is the same shade as the darkest brick on my home). I wanted a subtle coating rather than a shining patent leather appearance and that vision resulted in a magnificently attractive addition to my property. This is fine quality paint that gives very good first coat coverage and softens the look of rough textured wood panels that even noticeable up close. A second coat was applied on both sides only to ensure preservation of the fence for years to come, and my own sense of completeness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love my refurbished deck!!!! I used BEHR DeckOver to restore our deck and I love it. Previously, the deck had been painted at least twice, but when we moved into the house the paint was peeling, chipping, and spotty everywhere. DeckOver, made my deck look and feel like new. Several people thought I re-did the deck with composite material. We have a multi level deck so I used two colors, Bordeaux and Castle Gray. Although it's as easy to use as paint, I recommend starting early in the morning. Allow your 1st coat to dry midday and applying your second coat in the evening. It's nearly impossible to apply this paint in the heat of the day. It's very thick and will congeal fast if it's warm outside. Even after power washing, stripping and sanding my deck was still in bad shape so the regular DeckOver didn't quite meet my expectations for filling in cracks and gaps. If I had it to do over again I would probably use the textured version with a smooth roller for better coverage. I'll come back next spring to review how it held up over the winter, but for now I'm looking forward to enjoying my new deck this spring and summer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waist your money. I used this last fall. Deck was expertly prepped, hand scrapped and power washed. This spring now, it is peeling off in patches and the deck has not even been used yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IMPRESSIVE COVERAGE, GREAT RESULTS! As seen in the photos, our steps (which were last stained about 2 years ago) needed attention. We were planning to replace them this summer, but didn't get the chance. We thought we would try this DeckOver product first to see what it could do. I was impressed, the coverage is remarkable. This paint filled in most of the cracks and crevices with the first coat. It took a while to work the paint into all the cracks on the first coat, but the second coat finished the job very well. It did have to be stirred more frequently than regular paints, as a film would start to develop on the surface (it was a cool 70 degree day, and there was a breeze). It is a thick paint, and a little more difficult to spread evenly for a slow painter like me but it got easier as I progressed. It has a slight odor similar to ammonia - but not overpowering while working outdoors. I used less than 1/2 gallon for the steps and now plan to paint the porch floor planks next. The Bordeaux color is a little lighter than what I prefer, but it is very close. I am hoping that this covering will last a bit longer than the previous stain products I've used. I am so pleased that we did not have to replace the steps, they look so much better now! (for some reason, my camera did not capture the coloring properly - the steps do not have the blotchy appearance that my photos seem to show!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great! Saved me from replacing. I bought this one gallon size to test how it would work on our wood deck. We have a built-in bench as part of the deck so I tried it out on it first. It looks brand new! I was so impressed I ordered five gallons for the deck. The finish has enough tooth to provide traction when wet and yet it is still easy to keep clean. It is somewhat of a chore to apply but the results are worth the effort. I highly recommend and would purchase again ... but glad that I won't need to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deckover paint I just recently applied this to my deck. I don't know how well it will do during the winter months. It is very thick paint. I was not able to roll it on. My deck receives full sun most of the day, and the paint was drying very fast. Lover the way it fills cracks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really covers and holds up well Used this on the back deck, where there is a lot of traffic, and now that the Fall/Winter rain has started, a lot of weather too. It goes on easily (brush only, too thick for rollers) and covers in one coat, though probably would be better in two. This color goes well with the dark brown basic color of the house.
