Hello Skeeter,
We appreciate your questions. With DeckOver going over 750 square feet (both of your decks), you would need 10 gallons, and this would include both required coats. We don't have a color called "Burgundy," but a burgundy color you might be interested in would be Bordeaux (SC-106). It's available at any Home Depot since all the stores use the same color system for tinting Behr coatings. We Read More
Hello Skeeter,
We appreciate your questions. We don't have a set longevity for this product, but it should last for years if properly applied. We also cover it under warranty for as long as you're still the owner or tenant from when it was applied. Periodic touchups may be needed to upkeep the finish, though. Since you've got an existing stain on the porches, we'd recommend scuff sanding the surface to remove any gloss (if there is any), and cleaning the whole surface with a concrete cleaner/degreaser (even if the porches are made of wood). Best wishes for your project!

Not only did it completely transform the look of 25-year-old concrete, it sealed all of the small cracks and crevices that had developed and created a slip resistant finish that's safe for the pool users at our condominium complex. Many have commented on how much they love both the look and feel of the product. Living in Missouri, we're also plagued by ants in the heat of the Summer. By sealing the cracks in the concrete, the ant problem was also significantly reduced. Read Less

Answer:
Hello Brian,
Thanks for your question! While it actually is a weatherproofer, this product is not made for use on plywood. This type of wood can expand and contract with changing weather which can harm the integrity of the coating. You might check with Home Depot for another brand's coating that would be suited to your needs.
Well wishes for your project!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't use BEHR on your deck! We have always used Behr on interior projects and love it. We trusted that the deck over would be a great product and give us a well protected deck....WRONG! It has peeled and you can't get it off. We spent hours scraping and have decided to dig the paint out of the screws and flip the boards. If you are trying to decide if you should use this product (or similar products...rustoleum, olympic, etc) DON'T do it!! May 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Product I bought this product last year and it didn't last 8 months before it started to peel.I contacted Behr by email with pictures and they said someone would be contacting me 2 months no contact.I called my Home Depot and they said the Behr rep would be in on Monday and would be contacting me.Two days later Home Depot called me and said they talked to the rep and they told them that he only stocks the shelf and I would have to wait for a different rep to contact me.Great customer service,I would not recommend Behr to any one September 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Every bit as good as advertised We used this to cover an 18 year old deck and it did a great job. Application was easy as it was not as thick as I had expected it to be. It rolled on very easy and filled in cracks and nail holes in the boards. It's almost like encasing your wood. So far it's been durable. Sliding chairs across it has not left any marks on it and it's got a non slip finish to it. I'm seriously thinking of using it to paint my pool deck this year. The color is beautiful. April 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is GREAT!!!! Love the way the product went on the deck and it drys very quickly as well! Looks Great and feels great on a once worn out old looking deck!!! July 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better results than I expected! I'd heard a lot about this product through advertising and I spoke with a couple of contractors who have used it and heard remarkable things about its durability and ease of application, so I decided to give it a try. I used the product to paint and seal a 23-year-old concrete floor in my basement. We thoroughly cleaned and prepared the concrete in advance of the application, making sure that it passed the "tape test" (use a piece of masking tape on the concrete... if it sticks, the floor is clean. If not, keep cleaning...) We waited 24 hours after the first coat, then allowed it to cure for 7 days before subjecting it to any traffic. The floor looks beautiful, the tiny cracks in the concrete were easily filled and have disappeared, and the resulting finish is easy to clean an doesn't. Time will tell about it's durability, but so far it's handled rough traffic with no problem. I have a few other outdoor projects planned for the product later this fall. July 23, 2013
