Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IMEnURU Don't believe the bad reviews!
I applied this product to the wooden deck of my old boat over a year ago...salt water, sun, dogs, and regularly wet and it's STILL perfect...not sure what the others have done wrong...perhaps the wood was not dry enough when they applied it? I would and DO highly recommend this product and would only advise that the wood is extremely dry before applying it (I didn't even use the cleaner since I was applying it to unsealed, untreated wood)...again, maybe that's where others went wrong as I would suspect the product wouldn't stick if the stripper/cleaner had soaked deep into the wood.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bob Behr Deckover Smooth Finish vs. Textured
I live in Bremerton, WA and we get a good share of rain here. We don't get much very cold weather, but it generally snows a few times each winter and can drop in the teens a few weeks per year. It also can get into the 90's for 30ish days per year in the summer months.
I used the smooth finish product over previously treated fir 2X6 decking. It hadn't been treated for at least 5 years prior to my using the Behr deckover product.
I used the Cape Cod Gray Smooth finish paint on my 600 sq ft deck after sanding and totally drying my wood. It peeled over 40% within the first winter. Totally dissatisfied and frustrated. I have used the Textured Cape Cod Gray on enclosed cargo trailer floors with good luck, though. So I pressure washed my peeling deck, sanded peeling spots, and let dry. I then applied the Cape Cod Gray TEXTURED product and it's been a good choice for me. It dries almost alike it has a hard plastic or even a concrete additive in it. I'm very happy so far with the TEXTURED PRODUCT. I'm waiting for next winter to come to confirm, but I'm confident it'll old up.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by LAW Don't use BEHR on your deck!
We have always used Behr on interior projects and love it. We trusted that the deck over would be a great product and give us a well protected deck....WRONG! It has peeled and you can't get it off. We spent hours scraping and have decided to dig the paint out of the screws and flip the boards. If you are trying to decide if you should use this product (or similar products...rustoleum, olympic, etc) DON'T do it!!

I put DeckOver down two years ago and followed the instructions on the label to a tee. It was very difficult and labor intensive to prep for and apply. Ten months later it started to peel and now it looks awful. I don't know how I am going to remove it, may have to turn the boards over or rebuild the deck.
Don't every buy this product for older wooden decks.
A friend of ours used it on concrete around a pool and it has lasted for 3 yerars now

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hineshill Great Product
Just used this on my 20 year-old porch that had been stained and painted. Had to do alot of scrapping before applying but it worked just as it said it would. Just don't buy too much. I covered almost 450 sq. ft with 5 gallons and did apply two coats. Had bought a second 5 gallons as I thought it was 375 sq. per 5 gallons. Couldn't return it so sold it to a friend. Best part is it cleans up with water!!!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Crazyman Thinking of using this? Don't!
I put this product on bare pressure treated (and aged) lumber. Two years later and it is peeling and flaking off. Now I have to figure out how to remove it so I can use a better product. My deck looks terrible and this product is to blame. Terrible.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TT Poor Product - Difficult to apply - Peels Quickly
Product is extremely difficult to apply. Is too thick to apply with roller. If you are successful applying with a roller the product leaves a textured surface. We were finally able to apply with a 4" brush. Use of a brush drastically extends the time required.
We power washed the deck and just prior to application re-sprayed deck with garden hose and spray attachment. We allowed several days to dry and started application. Several sections of deck started to peel within a month. At the point of this review the product has been on for about 9 months. It is peeling at many locations on deck.
I would not recommend the use of this product. As Review Title states it is very difficult to apply and then does not stick to decking. I am extremely dissatisfied.
