I am thinking about painting my wood floors and would like to find something that paints and primes and seals as this states that it does. Would this work without getting a polyurethane sealant or should I do both this and the selant?

Hi tdh,
Thanks for your question! Our Premium Plus All-In-One Primer & Sealer would be a great option for your wood floors, however it does need to be topcoated with a floor coating since this isn't a stand-alone product. Once you prime your floors with this product, I recommend topcoating it with something like our Porch & Patio Floor Paint, which can be viewed here: Read More
Hi tdh,
Thanks for your question! Once you prime your floors with this product, I recommend topcoating it with something like our Porch & Patio Floor Paint, which can be viewed here: http://www.homedepot.com/p/BEHR-Premium-1-gal-6050-Ultra-Pure-White-Low-Lustre-Porch-and-Patio-Floor-Paint-605001/206454767. Answer:
Hi Eric,
Thanks for your question. For best results, we recommend de-glossing the Semi-Gloss Enamel before applying our Premium Plus Interior All-In-One Primer & Sealer. You don't need to sand the closet doors back down to bare wood, just as long as the previous paint isn't glossy anymore. Good luck with your project! - Sara

Hi 1617mkt,
We currently don't recommend applying wallpaper over our primers. You may want to reach out to your local Home Depot for some recommendations on a different primer to use for this purpose. That product should also offer some guidance on how soon it can be topcoated with wallpaper. Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 118 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not suitable for drywall Used to prime new drywall and older walls that had been skim coated to cover ugly texturing. Primer was easy enough to apply and covered well. BUT it did not adhere worth a darn to either the drywall or the joint compound used for skim coating. Pulled up easily with low tack painters tape and once started, the primer pulled off the wall in sheets. Literally. No adhesion to speak off. Do NOT use on unpainted drywall! No matter that the label says it's for drywall and that the guy at Home Depot recommended it. September 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best paint available This paint sticks so well that you can hardly get it off of your hands. Most other brands rinse off easily. It sounds bad for Behr but it also sticks to what you are trying to paint just as well! October 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BHER PRIMER ALWAYS LOVE BHER PAINT I PAINT THE ROOM OF MY DAUGHTER AND ITS AMAZING September 27, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Priming Wood Paneling Just used this product to prime medium brown wood paneling. Seemed to do the job as finish coat went on well and covered evenly October 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by First time painting cabinets We did two coats of primer on our cabinets before starting with paint. This paint seemed to cover pretty well! I painted the cases while still up, so ended up doing three coats because wanted to do them thin enough so they wouldn't drip. This kind of paint stayed tacky for a while, and even after it wasn't, it seemed like it might chip. So that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. We actually left for a bit after finishing, and that helped the paint to fully dry without disturbance. I'm SO happy with the result though!! February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product is as Stated and is Genuine My closet organizer kit arrived in good time without delay. The product arrived undamaged despite the UPS man dropping it in my driveway. My only complaint is that the top shelving instructions were NOT included with the kit. September 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product Thick, but not too thick. Lays down and covers nicely. September 6, 2016
