Answer:
Hello Rick,
Thanks for your question! Our Premium Plus paint is self-priming, so it can be applied to new drywall without the need of a separate primer. Multiple coats may be needed, though, depending on how porous the surface is. Also, for the inside of your garage, please be sure it's interior. :)
Best wishes for your project!

Answer:
Hello DIYer,
Thanks for your question. Once dried, our latex paints are considered safe when sat on or touched, but with chickens that may peck at the coating, this wouldn't be considered safe. Therefore, you might consider our livestock safe Barn & Fence Paint: http://www.homedepot.com/p/BEHR-1-gal-white-Exterior-Barn-and-Fence-Paint-03501/100200471.
Best wishes for your chicken coop!

Answer:
Hello karl,
We appreciate your question. It is a matter of the type of water exposure. Our exterior latex wall paints like this are made to repel water from rain but not standing water, for example. Hope this clarifies. Best wishes for your project!

Answer:
This paint is good at shedding water such as rain but continued exposure to water isn't good the paint would break down. This would be do to water getting in behind the paint film.

Answer:
Hello Neil,
Thanks for your question. We actually wouldn't recommend any of our products for use on gelcoat or on RVs/automobiles as both surface types are outside of the intended design of our coatings. Product failure could result if applied to those. You might check with Home Depot for a possible RV/car paint and one that can go on gelcoat fiberglass specifically. Best wishes for your project!

Answer:
A gelcoat finish is a soft finish subject to scratching. An acrylic finish is harder and more durable but I don't have an answer to your question.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great buy! The painters I hired to paint my home exterior insisted we use only this product. I dont argue with experts! It was 10 years ago and my home still looks beautiful and only took one coat. I love the results and would recommend it to everyone! April 8, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Purchased for my front porch and railings. looks great, and cleaned up well. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really great!! I used this paint to redo the doors on my new house. I love the way that it went on. It was a bit thicker than typical wall paint, but in the end, who cares? The only reason thing I've found to be a pain is that it scratches a little when my dog shuts the dokr behind himself. I didn't lower the star rating, because even though it's scratched a little bit, it's been 4-20x per day over 4 month's time and I've only had a few small spots to touch up. It's been a really great product, and I used so little of my pint, that I'll have touchup paint for years. February 13, 2016
