Answer:
Hi Syed,
Behr Premium Plus Paint can be thinned with water at a rate of no more than 1/2 pint per gallon. While it is not recommended for brush and roll application, the paint can be thinned with water for spray application.

Hi Sparrow,
Care should be taken when painting wallpaper. First, the wallpaper needs to be clean, free of oils grease and particulates and in good repair. Remember, painting wallpaper will not correct issues with wallpaper such as lifting seams and peeling paper- these must be repaired prior to painting. Filling and lightly sanding secured seams will also reduce their visibility when painted. Additionally, if the wallpaper has a texture, that texture may show after the paint has been applied.
First, prime the wallpaper with Behr Premium Plus Oil-Based Primer and Sealer (see link below). Then topcoat with Behr Premium Plus Interior Paint or Behr Premium Plus Ultra Paint and Primer in One. You may choose any color you like for your project. If your color is very deep or bright and requires a tinted primer, Behr Premium Plus Oil-Based Primer and Sealer may be tinted for fewer topcoats.
While Behr Hi Gloss Enamel Interior and Exterior Paint will adhere to properly prepared wallpaper, the sheen is very shiny and the wallpaper seams and, if applicable, the wallpaper texture will be very evident under a high sheen. My best recommendation is to remove the wallpaper and wallpaper paste, repair the wall and return it to a very smooth surface before painting.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 90 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Preferred paint for trimming and doors My family of two daughters, son and myself have all used this paint color Swiss Coffee to paint doors and trim work in their homes for the last 14 years. Amazingly we all picked the color without consulting the others. It has become a family joke that we all chose the same color. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome product I am using this for all the molding in my home and the coverage is awesome. It also has made cleaning the molding so much easier. Fantastic product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Peels off and leaves streaks I will never use this again. I've used other Behr wall paint in the past with no issues. We bought this to use on brand new wood windows which we first primed with Zinzer. The primer was great. This hi-gloss paint left horrible streaks and when I pulled up the painters tape I had to score it first because otherwise it would pull up the paint in sheets. I'm just disgusted. Our new (expensive) wood windows should look much better than this and it took a lot of time and work to get them looking somewhat decent. This was just a dismal excuse for hi-gloss paint. No longer a fan of Behr paint after this debacle. June 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by you get what you pay for i painted my bedroom with high gloss simply because of low lighting. the gloss finish refracted the light all around the room making the room brighter even though i used a dark red color. I have dogs who love to lean against and sleep touching the walls. cleanup is super easy with this paint and as many times as i have wiped the walls the paint looks as good as ever. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for trim! We used the Ultra Pure White on the trim and we love it! Really adds some pop and I know the gloss will hold up well. Even Consumer Reports rated the Behr paint as one of the best you can get - can't go wrong with it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by i'm fully convinced we bought behr interior paint at home depot and were completely satisfied with it. so when it came time to paint the exterior of our house i chose behr exterior hi-gloss paint. it still looks as good as it did 5 years ago and no peeling anywhere which i hope means i prepped the house very well. long story short, we couldn't be more pleased with your excellent paint!
