It is an off-white. That gives you a white feel without the glare of a pure white.

Answer:
Go to the Behr color samples and there is a tri-fold booklet which shows a bunch of different shades of white. You can see a sample of Swiss Coffee there. To my eye it is slightly gray in shade and looks nice with my brushed nickel hardware. Definitely a cool white.

Viewing Behr paint colors online will give you an idea of what the color may look like, however it is highly recommended that you confirm your choice by selecting the color chip from the BEHR Color Center at your local The Home Depot store. The best way to determine whether a color is right for you is to try it using an 8 oz. Behr Paint Sample Tester in your room setting and under your specific lighting conditions.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 233 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Can't wait to get rid of this paint We have used many Behr paints which have been fine. But this one is awful. With a primer, one coat (maximum two) of the old Behr's interior paint has been great. This self-priming interior paint, however, is more trouble than it is worth. Having spent hours online looking online for the drying time, I'm still clueless. 4 hours between coats seems to be appropriate, I wish that I could read this information on the label though. The last thing we painted with this paint was still sticky one year after initial painting. The solution we have come up with is to paint a coat or two of polyurethane over the top, for quicker drying and a smoother finish. It takes several coats to get good coverage; the worst case was 5 coats required for coverage. October 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ultra Pure Dream Come True! I recently purchased my first house, unfortunately it needed a lot of work in the paint department. My whole entire house was light yellow, you could not tell the ceiling from the trim! Needless to say it was awful to wake up to every morning! I could not take it any more so I bought several gallons of BEHR PREMIUM PLUS Interior Semi-Gloss Enamel paint in Ultra Pure White to paint all of the trim, from windows to door frames. What a difference! The quality of this paint is excellent, I only needed one coat which made my painting nightmare a quick dream come true. I am now a loyal customer to BEHR paint. Without a doubt the best brand of paint out there! February 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Has a runny consistency Bought one can and thought it was too runny. Lots of drips off the brush and even with primer, I needed two coats for good coverage. I took the can back and exchanged it for a new can thinking I got a can from a bad batch...nope, the replacement can was runny too. The finished product is beautiful, it cleans up easily and Home Depot made the exchange without question but I don't like having to police the painted areas for runs and drips as much as I have to do with this product. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Laundry Room We painted the New Laundry Walls in Juniper, the trim in Cottage white, the table and cabinet in Permafrost. I wanted my Laundry Room to be very light and bright. The paint went on smooth and cleaned up easily. I have a bank of 16 windows above my washer and dryer. The back door is half glass. So in the day time I don't have to turn on the lights. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect coverage We have used this paint a lot over the years. It has good coverage and long lasting color. Goes on thick, usually only one coat is required (unless you are covering extreme color differences). It smells a bit more than no VOC paint but I really like it. February 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Paint We bought this paint for our new kitchen it is great! The kitchen only needed two coats and that was over a dark paneling and it wipes clean very nicely. February 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Paint I have ever Used! We own several historical buildings known as Lehmans Mill and we are painting something all the time. Over the past 25 years we have bought and used a lot of paint for both inside and outside, barn roofs and concrete. I have to tell you that Behr is by far the beat paint we have ever used. It just keeps getting better all the time!! February 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good coverage I like this product. The coverage is good and the sheen is nice... not too glossy and not too flat. My only problem is if you try and put a second layer (or touch up an area) and it isnt completely dry (i know, patience), then you lose the sheen in that area and it looks weird. February 9, 2016
