I bought 1 qt of this at the recommendation of the home depot employee in the paint section. I bought it in black and I was impressed with the depth of color this paint has. The paint looks rich and creamy in satin. 1 qt did the front of my front door that was already painted black, the back of the door that was only primed...and the two sidelites. There wasn't quite enough to do the exterior sidelites as I had hoped but will purchase another qt to finish the job. You do need to be consistent with your pressure and direction of the paint. It dries fast and any inconsistencies in the way you applied the paint will show. Overall i am happy with the color, application and finish. I Will buy this paint again if needed.

Behr paint is always consistently high quality. The consistency of the paint makes it so that one coat will suffice. This is my favorite and the only brand I buy. Thank you Home Depot for carrying Behr and having the equipment to make any color I need.

I bought this paint to repaint over my wood shutters, which were painted prior, with Behr 5050 White color. I had this paint tinted a slightly darker off-white color to match some new aluminum trim.
The problem is that after washing, sanding and two (2) coats of paint the original white shows through.
It looks like the pigments that were used to color, did not blend. Yes I did stir before use.
I did brush the paint and did use a good quality brush, maybe spaying would have made a difference.
I just hope it holds up.
