Can i paint a dried out, flat stained shed ?

i have a light brown stained shed and want to renew it, If i get this tinted to match can i paint directly over it or is there something else i should try?
Asked by: Pete
Absolutely, you may want to sand it and apply a primer but its amazing what a little work and time with this paint can do. You can literally get that shed looking brand new again

can this be applied if a wood fence is damp

Asked by: Anonymous
Never apply paint to a damp surface, it will not bond properly and in the long run it will not last as intended.
