Answer:
Hello Locutions,
Our Paints viscosity is 100-110 KU which is its thickness. However, if being sprayed, you can thin our product with up to 8oz of water per gallon. We also recommend using a .015-.021 tip size.
Best wishes,
Kevin

I'm planing on painting this over a drab yellowish cream color on stucco. Do I have to use primer first? I know it wouldn't hurt, but is it necessary?

Answer:
Hi Bethany,
Thanks for writing in, and great question! It's not necessary use a separate primer, because the first coat will act as the priming coat. Any additional coats will build color and sheen coverage. Hope this helps, and good luck on your project!

Re: interior wall (not trim) - cover dark red - pls describe the various finishes (ex: eggshell? satin?)

I will be painting the walls of a room. Want highest quality paint. Current color: dark red. New color: antique white. Will be patching some small holes.
I don't want FLAT, don't want semi-gloss. Please describe the FINISHES that are in-between.

Future use of the room: home office with books and computers.

I see that one kind of paint is both primer-and-paint (??one coat??). Do you suggest that ONE coat will work for the above job?

What kind of patching material do you recommend?
What kind of PAINT ROLLER do I want for slightly texture finish?

Answer:
Hi MaryMel,
Thank you for your question! We would recommend our BEHR Premium Plus Ultra paint. Your options would be matte, eggshell, or satin. Satin finish is the most shiny, eggshell is the least. Please follow all label instructions.

Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. All of our latex paints are non-toxic once the coating has fully cured, however, it should have a typical paint smell. If you would like more information you can view the Product Data Sheet for details.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Paint will outlast the deck 8 years ago We built a large surround deck and used the Berh exterior flat on it. Our area has weather from 30 below to 110 above and I didn't think anything had a chance on the deck. The weather has taken a toll on the wood but not the paint. After fixing the few broken pieces I'm using the deck over from Berh as the paint proved it would outlast Mother Nature now I need to make sure the deck does. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wouldn't Even Consider Any Other Paint I've used this paint for my wooden fences, for my garden shed and for one of our garages that was converted to a wood shop. It applies great and really DOES cover in one coat-even when painting a lighter color over a dark burgundy fence. My garden shed looks fabulous, my fence is still looking great 2 years later, even in the hot Texas summers. It cleans up really easily, too. Excellent paint. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exterior House paint I bought two cans of this paint to do the back of my home. I choose this paint because of its ability to cover imperfections and it had good reviews. I was able to finish the backyard walls in one day, starting early in the morning and I was finished by noon. I had already prepped the windows and doors the day before so all I had to do was wait for the temperature to get high enough for the dew to dissipate. I started on one end of the house and my husband was working the other end and this paint covered wonderfully. I would recommend if you need an exterior paint that you use this one. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First time with Behr I bought this paint not really sure exactly what to expect. Paint and primer in one? One coat? Well it is all of that and more. I used it on my side entrance porch which faces south and is all wood. The porch looks amazing after just the one coat. The paint dried quickly and it was easy to clean up afterward. Thanks Behr! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mom's house My mom passed away a year ago last April. We'd always talked about painting her place, but it just never got done. Now that I'm a landlord of it, I had to do it. LOVE LOVE LOVE how it turned out and the fabulous color selections and quality of the Behr paint. I'm so glad we chose it! September 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better Exterior paint than any other brand About 8 years ago I was between jobs and decided to paint the exterior of my home (wood composite siding circa 1976). I had used Behr on most of my interior walls and felt I should use Behr for my house. I had painted a little over half of my house; the back half, and was offered a great price on a name brand product other than Behr. So the front of the house had an "other" brand on it. At about the 6 year mark I noticed the front of the house looked faded and uneven in color. Upon comparing where I switched paint the Behr still looked great, the other thumbs down. Behr is worth the money, positively for both interior and exterior! August 26, 2013
