Have major issues with this lot of primer. It was so thin. Used 1 litre to cover the same ft2 as 4 l of finishing white. So thin it spattered way too much. I enquired back at the store and was told this product is very thin. I was disappointed and still have 2.5 l to use up. Not happy. Suggest a thicker better product line Zinsser

I didn't heed the warnings from the other reviewers of this product. I thought, "how bad could it be." The truth is, it's awful. It's really not worth the money. The first coat you put on is practically translucent: you can clearly see the drywall and mudded areas that you're trying to cover up. I've put on 2 coats now and I can stil make out (albeit faintly) what's underneath.
I've used other drywall sealers/primers and they have given excellent and even coverage in one coat (far better in one coat than two with this Behr Premium Plus stuff). Home Depot should really consider removing this product from their shelves because I can't see how anyone would be happy with the results of this product when it is used as it was intended, as a drywall primer and sealer.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Avoid this product
Avoid this product. Does not adhere to surfaces. Prepared surface as recommended, primed and painted a ceiling. Paint stuck to primer but primer did not stick to ceiling. Putty knife run between primer and surface peeled entire layer off. Spent hours and hours patching ruined ceiling. Purchased a primer from a paint store (at 3x the cost) and had success.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by eastavin Excellent high hiding, self priming exterior paint
Pros: Self Priming, high hiding, fast drying, claims mildew resistance, attractive price, minimal chalking. The previous version of this product had a pretty good paint film that was very good at maintaining the integrity of the physical surface after years of exposure to the elements. We will see if this new nano version is just as robust in a few years.
Cons: Certain pigments (like the yellows) tend to fade out after a few years of exposure to sunlight leaving the other pigments to stand out...so you will notice a change in the overall colour of your painted surface after 4-5 years. ex. a browish/yellow paint when new will end up looking more red/brown after 4-5 years... I have been using this brand of exterior paint for 10 years now and the fading of the yellow pigments is an area they could improve on in the future. An excellent choice otherwise.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sallysue Moving into a 35 year old home we had lots of exterior painting to do.. .this paint came highly recommended for our outdoor window paintng and the coverage was awesome. My father in law even said it's the best exterior paint he'd ever used and he liked how well it applied.

This is the worst primer i have ever used, bubbles, peeling, called and they said one month cure time, who has 1 month to wait for primer to cure?
if you use this stuff you will end up spending 10 times what you spent on the primer to fix what this stuff will do to your walls,
and yes all the prep work was done
i should have went to youtube first .
waste of money and time
