Answer:
I haven't done it yet with this primer , my experience with other brands of primers is no problem.
The Behr products from my experience are very cross compatible, I don't think you will have any problems having the help desk do a pre-tint color add.

Answer:
Dear Johnny C.,
Thank you very much for your question. BEHR PREMIUM PLUS® Drywall Primer & Sealer can be tinted with up to 2 ounces of colorant. Simply ask The Home Depot paint associate you would like to tint the product. If you can provide the paint associate with your topcoat color, the associate will be able to tint PREMIUM PLUS Drywall Primer & Sealer towards that color space. Thank you.

priming bare drywall, for a finished basement - 900 sq ft plus ceiling, decided to rent a sprayer to speed things up - but read some primers need to be thinned - anyone used this with a Graco 395 sprayer and how much did you need to thin it, if at all?

Answer:
Hello Homey,
Thanks for your question. We don't necessarily require that this primer be thinned when it will be used with a sprayer, but if the sprayer manufacturer recommends then it can be thinned with up to 8 oz. of water (only water). Please follow all label instructions for best results.
Well wishes for your project!

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 65 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This stuff is garbage . WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF!! I bought this based on the Behr name. It Does Not meet up to the other Behr products I've used. I cleaned and prepped the walls and used an airless sprayer to apply. The coverage is 1/3rd of what they claim. It's very thin like it's watered down. I then let it cure for 10 days TEN! I then taped one area using Frog Tape painter's tape and before I even finished taping the stuff started to peel away from the wall from just applying the tape. Now I have all of the repair work to do and then to redo the entire thing. August 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Drywall primer Too thick for sprayer Had to apply with roller by hand August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by primer and sealer very low odor compare to other brands .dries fairly quickly. primer was not to thick or thin good for priming over light color or new walls. for darker walls I think you would have to use three coats for better coverage. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product! Used it for new sheetrock, dried in about 20 minutes. Second cost did the trick, pute white walls. Amazing primer. Will never use snything else! Thank you Behr! June 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great price Goes on well covers well. Price is right on budget. Overall great paint May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Behr Drywall primer sealer Repeat purchase of this product. Always use a quality sealer on all new drywall. Thus is a great primer for previously painted walls as well. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Sealer Good Coverage BEHR Premium Plus5 is a good acrylic primer for your drywall project. 5 gallons is the size to buy because the drywall & tape really suck up the paint. Put on two coats of primer/sealer so that your final color coat will be easy. You can re-coat (2nd coat) quickly because this primer dries quickly. April 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Work Great Did exactly what it was suppose to. Prepared my new sheetrock for painting. March 24, 2016
