Can this be used to paint a dressing table

Asked by: Bev
Hello Bev, We appreciate your question. Yes, while this paint is mainly for walls and trim, we've found it to work well on furniture. A dressing table is okay. You might consider a higher sheen like satin or semi-gloss if you need some extra scuff resistance, but eggshell will work, too. Best wishes for your project!

How do you figure out how much paint you will need

Asked by: Tonya
Hello Tonya, Thanks for your question! This paint covers 250-400 square feet per gallon, so you would divide your total project square footage by 250 to get the most amount of product you'll need per coat and divide by 400 to get the least you would need per coat. I'd start out by buying the least amount and then purchasing more as some of the project gets completed and you can see how much paint it's taking so far. Here's a link to some helpful painting tips, including a short video that goes into more detail on how much paint you'll need: Best wishes for your project!

Can this be painted on top of oil base paint?

Asked by: CLaurie
I've always understood that latex paint can go over oil, but oil cannot go over latex.
