I used Behr paint when we built our house. Our painters wanted to use Sherwin Williams paint, but we insisted on Berh in light of the excellent Consumer Report reviews. We loved it. A few years later, we finished our basement and this time listened to our painters (mostly because we just didn't want to argue about it). We thought, how different can it be? Well, fast forward 13 years on the Behr and 11 on the basement Sherwin Williams. We are prepping our house for sale and are touching up scuffs, dings, etc. Every wall we used the Behr on could be touched up without having to paint the entire wall (which was pretty much throughout the main and upper floors of our very large house). They were all perfect matches. All the Sherwin Williams walls that we had to touch up in the basement had to be entirely repainted due to fading. FYI, the basement has significantly less sun exposure than the main and upper floors. This is a microcosm of the Consumer Report study :-). The photo shows where we touched up a door handle divit and scuffs and it is a perfect match. I will never use any paint other than Behr.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CenturyPainter Great coverage and pure white.
Good paint. I recently used this paint on a job where I had to paint over darker colors. To my surprise, all it took was one coat to cover the old paint. However, make sure you apply generously and try and roll in uniform patterns. A lot of people get frustrated and give the products a bad rating simply because they do not know how to apply paint properly. This was a great choice of paint for my project. I liked the brightness of the ultra pure white, very low odor and fast drying time. I do recommend this product.

If I could give this a negative three stars - I would. I purchased 12 gallons to paint the inside of my house. 8 gallons went bad in four months. The paint separated and settled at the bottom. After 20 minutes of stirring the paint stayed separated. I wrote the company to see if there was something I could do to bring it together. They said no and since it was a custom paint. They would not refund my money. All my other paints stored in the same room are fine. I have paint that has been sitting in my garage for 8 years that stood up better then this. $300.00 wasted. I don't know where the life time warranty starts - it is not while it is in the can.

I decided to paint my whole house interior walls white. The ultra pure white was a great choice. The walls make the house look clean and sharp.

A bit pricey, but the non-VOC factor is great. Covers well. No problems

After spending the time and money to hang a 640 square foot sheetrock ceiling in my shop space, and then doing the sheetrock mud texture thing, I was not about to cut corners on the final touch: the paint. This is the paint that you want. Painting the ceiling is one of my least favorite things so I go with the Behr and the job is done, quick and as painless as possible and the results are professional.

disclaimer: i am not a professional painter.....just wanted to paint this house...so when i started to paint....i noticed that it was going on streaky.....i was very disappointed, but i proceeded thinking i'd have to do two coats....well.....the next day after it all dried.....it looked beautiful.....very even...with just the one coat. i have since improved my technique.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Homeowner I love these paints.
We're extensively repainting the interior of our home prior to putting it on the market, and we went out of our way to get Behr paints. (The nearest Home Depot is about an hour away.) We love them. They cover well, they apply easily, they seem to keep virtually forever, and they're reasonably priced.
