I used the behr paint and primer for my first time ever and it covered my light blue with a nice gray and surprisingly it covered in one coat I let it dry for the night and it covered all the stains and brush strokes in the wall plus half a paint can left.

This paint's finish was uneven and blotchy, and is especially noticeable in sunny areas of the house where you can see down/along the wall. Despite taking every precaution to ensure all pre-paint preparation steps were taken, applying three coats and sometimes more, and trying different techniques to get it to roll on as smoothly as possible, it still turned out blotchy. A light colour will cover a previous dark colour easily, but my complaint is with the uneven finish.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JPN80 French Silver PPU18-05 mainly medium lavender grey, Needs at least 2 coats for knockdown textured walls
Packaging: The paint cans were well packaged and no paint leaked from the cans.
Paint Color: French Silver PPU18-05 is a medium lavender grey in most light; I thought it would be more of a medium blue grey based on how the color appeared on my computer, which is partially correct. If it's overcast, it looks medium grey. Likewise, if it's bright and sunny, the color looks more blue-ish medium grey. Despite being a moody color (i.e. the color appears to change in different light), it's a neutral tone that does well with most colors except for cooler medium blues. For example, it matches well with builder grade beige paint (in my case, Sherwin Williams D.R. Horton White), Behr Baritone 680F-7 (deep brownish purple - another moody color), and Behr Parsnip 440A-1 (light minty green).
Paint Application, Cleanup, and Smell: This paint was still too thick to apply with a nap roller or a Wooster brush; once I thinned the paint with water per manufacturer recommendations for paint sprayer application, the paint adhered to the walls smoothly. Since my walls are knockdown textured, I have to have 2 coats of any paint brand and this one was no exception.
Cleanup was easy - just wash painting supplies in soap and water.
The paint smell from the eggshell finish was about the same as Glidden eggshell paint finishes; SH and BM eggshell finishes are a bitter stronger than Behr's.

This is by far one of the most versatile white paints straight out of the can I've ever used for over 20 years with improved formulation over the years too! I use this on ceilings, trim work, walls as is out of the can which is nice. The coverage quality of paint is what you notice immediately during application. As a result of house painting success I've actually purchased numerous gallons of tinted formulas for my hobby-crafts which customers love because of the Behr paint product! Rest assured that you will not be disappointed for the price and reliability! You should try the exterior paints that hold up very well to New England weather too!

I always admire the paint color choices in friends' homes but tend to be wimpy with my own color selections. We had our family room repaired and remodeled and I was thinking of just doing an accent wall with a richer color and neutral on other walls, but found the blue/green color Coney Island and went with that on most walls and Armadillo for one neutral wall. I ended up loving Coney Island so much that I painted over neutral wall with it and am inspired to use richer colors in other rooms of house and get away from so much white (or pale colors). The paint was really pigment rich and smooth and I had lots of fun using website to check out colors.

We've been modernizing our home with new doors, trim, and accent walls. I've found this paint is great to work with, covers well, and rarely requires a second coat. We didn't do much research on paint brands before beginning our project. However, since Behr was at Home Depot, we went ahead with this product. Fortunately for us, Behr turned out to be a great product. I haven't felt the need to change and haven't looked into any other brands since I am completely satisfied with this product.
Thank you, Behr, for your great products. Thank you, Home Depot, for caring reliable products we can use his homeowners.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mafroe2 Excellent coverage, Perfect Color
I received a gallon of Behr Premium Plus Ultra Interior Eggshell paint in perfect taupe. The paint came nicely and carefully packaged, requiring little mixing as one would initially believe. We painted over standard finish wall paint which usually absorbs the paint requiring a second coat. But with this paint, this wasn't the case. We were able to paint the wall flawlessly with one coat to our surprise. The paint does have some odor but didn't stick around too long. Great consistency, coverage and application.

We purchased a home built in 1987 that was in deplorable condition! My grandchildren named one of the bedrooms, "the ugly room". The walls were painted flat white with glow in the dark stars in a heart shape. It was on the walls, baseboards, window trim, closets. ceilings... lime green. hot pink, teal, yellow and orange!! It did take 3 coats of this to cover the florescent paint while the other rooms took 1 coat. You would have to see the difference. It's the prettiest room in the house. I'd love to show you before and after pictures so that you would believe me. I forgot one more thing. This was paneling that was painted over! Awesome! We have since painted the entire house inside and out with Behr, the greatest paint ever made!!!!
