I used the behr paint and primer for my first time ever and it covered my light blue with a nice gray and surprisingly it covered in one coat I let it dry for the night and it covered all the stains and brush strokes in the wall plus half a paint can left.

This paint's finish was uneven and blotchy, and is especially noticeable in sunny areas of the house where you can see down/along the wall. Despite taking every precaution to ensure all pre-paint preparation steps were taken, applying three coats and sometimes more, and trying different techniques to get it to roll on as smoothly as possible, it still turned out blotchy. A light colour will cover a previous dark colour easily, but my complaint is with the uneven finish.

This is the brand I strongly recommend to my customers that hire me. It covers in one coat, if applied right with the exception, dark reds or burgundies do require two coats. But I used Valspar in past and that brand always requires two to three coats for good coverage, it is like, transparent when it goes on and I am not happy when I walk onto a job and see Valspar or any other brand of paint. I know I will be applying two or more coats.
STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS BRAND FOR GOOD COVERAGE, GOOD QUALITY AND PROFESSIONAL COVERAGE.
If you don't get good coverage with one coat then you are not applying it properly and are not using the right nap with roller covers. There is a difference in naps on covers and you must know the right nap to use on different surfaces. If in doubt, get online and do your research but this is the only brand I prefer to use and I am a professional interior painter with 25 years experience.

My daughter purchased her first townhome. She had a number of decorating ideas starting with painting accent walls in her bedroom, complimenting colors on her fireplace and her kitchen. We went directly to Home Depot, along with swatches of curtains and a pillow, and matched colors perfectly. Paint rolls on so smoothly and covers beautifully. Bedroom, kitchen, powder room, fireplace and master bath were all painted because of the ease and beauty of Behr Paint. We even went back and bought Behr Concrete water proofing paint and did the block wall in her garage! By the way, went on easier and covered more than we thought! All in all, projects were a huge success and look beautiful!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DGLF Easy to use and true to color
My husband and I used the Premium Plus Ultra in eggshell for our living room/dining room/hallway and satin for a shared wall between the kitchen and family room. Both were fantastic! Granted, we started with an ugly neutral yellowy-beige, so it was easy to cover. But, we only needed two coats of each (the living/dining/hall was a combo of mountain pine on a lower part of the wall and green balsam on the upper and hallway, and the kitchen/family room was duchess lilac). All three colors were very true to the paint swatches, and it came out beautifully! It's been about 5 or 6 months and the color still looks great, and no visible wear and tear. Very happy!
