Answer:
Hi Jeffinct,
Yes, our Premium Plus Ultra Stain-Blocking Ceiling Paint will cover the areas where the cracks were patched. We recommend priming these spots first, and this paint can be used as your primer. After the cracks have been primed, you can apply this paint to the whole surface. Happy Painting! - Sara

How do I amend my remarks made about Behr Ceiling Paint to include an update?

This question is from 2 gal. Flat Interior Ceiling Paint

I would like to amend my remarks made about the Behr Ceiling Paint to add the fact that I contacted Behr Customer Support to discuss my problem. Their Customer Support Department went far beyond my expectations and not only were very concerned about it, but promptly agreed to ship me their upgraded product in hopes of correcting my problem at their expense. I could not ask any more of a manufacturer in standing by their product.
Although their product failed to cover properly as discussed in my earlier remarks, they admitted that it could be a batch problem and took 100 % full responsibility to see that I was a satisfied customer.
I will remain a Behr Paint user with that kind of people running the company.

Answer:
Hi Beto,
Thanks for writing in! One gallon of Premium Plus Ultra Ceiling paint will cover approximately 325 square feet. Specifically though, it will cover anywhere from 250 to 400 square feet- depending on the porosity of the surface. Hope this helps, and good luck on your project!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Ceiling Paint I have been in the building industry for over 40 years and have done a lot of painting in my time and have used a lot of Behr paint from HD. My latest job involved the repainting of a garage ceiling which was last painted over 20 years ago and required the patching of several scratches and imperfections with drywall mud. I first painted by brush all of the spackled areas and edging, then after 3 hours, proceeded to roll the entire ceiling. Much to my chagrin, the paint failed to hide or cover these areas leaving very obvious patches. Thinking that it needed a second coat, I then proceeded, after 4 hours to re-roll the ceiling. Again, and very disappointingly, the patches were still clearly visible. I don't know the problem, as I have never had to roll a ceiling 3 times. Maybe a bad batch, but I will definitely not be using Behr ceiling paint again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Behr Bright White ceiling paint adds light and freshness to any room. I am a Realtor and many homes that we list require a cosmetic facelift, and/or overdue maintenance items that the home owner never kept up with, and even light renovations. We do some of the work ourselves, and also hire contractors and supervise the work as a service to our sellers. Painting is almost ALWAYS on the list of things to do prior to listing. We use nothing but Behr paint, and this bright white (which we prefer to the regular, and duller, color) ceiling paint is always perfect. Coverage is great, the bright white choice adds light and illumination to rooms making them look bigger and fresher, and the clients love it. Great quality paint is the only way to go. No, it's not the cheapest, but the cheap ones require more coats (more WORK!), and don't dry as evenly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid this Ceiling Paint Been using Behr paint for years. Just painted our house last month. The last time we painted outside we used Behr paint and it lasted 8 yrs. This ceiling paint is not like there other products. It took 2 coats on a ceiling that was painted a light colored beige 4 yrs ago. Thought I could get 2 bedroom ceilings done with one gallon. Well that didn't happen. Going to check out another product for the 2nd bedroom.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Deserves a zero Seriously, who is giving this paint anything above 1 star!!?! There's no way the reviews are real. It goes on like oatmeal. Took a full can to do a SMALL bedroom ceiling AND needed a second coat. Never mind I spent 3 hours to get the ceiling done! I did second ceiling with the regular Behr ceiling on. Went on super smooth. Took an hour And only needed one coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Job isn't done, Until the Ceiling is painted!!! Painted several rooms, and skipped painting the white ceilings since they were cathedral style and high. Well after some prodding from the Mrs, I purchased several gallons of Behr Interior Ceiling Flat White paint and finished off our painting projects in no time. The Behr ceiling paint covered nicely with minimal splatter using my paint stick. The paint dried evenly and has a smooth/even flat finish. The pure white flat ceiling nicely complements the satin white crown molding surrounding the ceiling. It's nice to purchase a product at a reasonable price and it performs well in the hands of a weekend handyman.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I used this paint to paint over a ceiling that was a very light tan, it took 3 coats to completel... I used this paint to paint over a ceiling that was a very light tan, it took 3 coats to completely cover the old paint. I also had to go back and touch up some small spots for various reasons after the third coat, but that was a mistake on my part as this 4th coat on those spots now shows when viewed at an angle from the adjacent room, i hadn't had this issue before when touching up walls, but that was using a different paint. I would only recommended this if you are painting over an already perfectly white ceiling just to "spruce it up".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid this paint I love Behr paint so was very disappointed in this ceiling paint. I painted the first coat and was disappointed to see my roller marks but thought that since the ceiling hadn't been painted in years and the way the first coat was sucked into the ceiling that I'd just need to put another coat on...so, back to HD I go to get another gallon. After adding another coat, same results. So...back to HD...got the Marquee level...we'll see how that goes today. It is a very bright white and goes on well, with little splatter.
