Answer:
Hello imfj,
Thanks for your interest in Behr colors. The two color IDs you mentioned belong to the same color, Macchiato. A few years ago, we updated our Ultra color ID system, so we simply changed this color ID from UL170-2 to PPU7-3. It's the same exact color with the same exact colorants added to the paint base.
Best wishes for your project!

Hello and thank you for your question. Christine's answer is accurate. 1 gallon of PREMIUM PLUS ULTRA® Interior Eggshell Enamel has a coverage of 250-400 Sq. Ft per Gallon. Depending on your current wall condition, color, and size, the amount of paint you'll need will vary. The Home Depots paint measurement calculator will be helpful as well. Hope that helps and good luck on your project!

1 gallon of paint will cover 250-400 square feet. If your wall has not been painted, or was painted without being primed, the coverage you get will be on the shorter end. Additionally, you will not get as good of coverage if you are making a drastic color change. For instance, if your walls are currently white or a light color, you will have a difficult time painting it Deep Garnet.
So, to sum up, you will probably only need 1 gallon of paint. But, be prepared to do two coats. Take the measurements of the wall to figure out the square feet.
