Will this cover midnight blue semigloss?

I have Midnight blue (almost black) semi gloss and also a dark Mustard semi gloss on the walls? Will one coat cover these colors?
Asked by: Kat
Semi gloss, maybe not, I would put two coats on. Do it once and it's done forever.

Can this be used for the floor of a shower? It was painted previously, before we moved in, and the paint came off, now the shower floor is just (I think) concrete with shoddy white paint that is constantly coming off in flecks. If that previous coat was removed completely, could this be used to repaint the floor without it coming off in the future?
Asked by: Rudy
Hello Rudy, Thank you for your interest in our products. We would not recommend using our paint for the floor of a shower. At this time, we don't manufacture a product that can be submerged underwater. I would suggest checking with your local Home Depot representative for their recommendation on a suitable paint for your project. Best regards, Kevin

In a matter of minutes this paint will dry and clump onto itself so when you run a roller over it, it seems as though your trying to paint a pealing sunburn. My roller was never dripping with paint. When I tried to thin the paint out as much as possible on the walls I have several spots where you can see the white (primed) drywall underneath. It is almost as if someone sponge painted with white. Between the peeling/clumping and the definite areas that need more than one coat, I have returned the additional ceiling paint i bought and will not ever recommend this product to anyone. There is a very fine line between too much paint, not enough, and just right.

Guest bathroom was painted initially with Sherwin Williams when first moved into home eight years ago with no issues. Painted bathroom again just recently because of a remodel with Behr Ultra and after about 48 hrs I noticed a small imperfection on the wall where the so called paint and primer didn't adhere to the surface. I peeled a small portion but stopped immediately because it kept peeling. Spend a little extra and get a professional paint such as a Sherwin Williams or such, it will save you a lot of time and effort. There is a reason why the pro painters don't go to the box stores for paints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing but the Behr!!! When we bought our first house, we could not wait to get painting. We literally repainted the entire house using only the Behr aka the BEST! We went in a wide arrangement of colors for each space just about. You can tell going onto the wall that this paint will be standing the test of time. I'm beyond impressed with the quality of Behr paint and definitely will never seek another paint company again. Most of our rooms are semi-gloss or satin and the quality is there. I don't have to worry about people touching the walls or getting god knows what on them w/ two huskies. They wipe clean easily. One thing that truly turned me towards Behr, was their spectrum of color. When i want to find the "perfect" mint color or the "right" gray.,....it was easy to go through all of their colors in their online catalogue. Mountain Mint and Toasty Gray made up our future kid's room. Compass Blue really compliments our front door. Cardamon makes a great accent wall for our front door....and Titanium will make our living room/kitchen feel open. I look forward to painting the cabinets in Submarine Gray and New House White. I've never been dissatisfied with the color selection, only bummed when I have to repaint b/c the more perfect color was added. ha ha. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Second paint job in life.....before it dried I was a bit nervous because I went over some spots a second time and didn't on some others....however when it dried it was smooth and everything blended out. Very professional finish.... Picking up more to do the next room.......

It worked excellent on my textured walls- with 2 coats...and on all of the rest of my smooth walls I had patchy results. It clung to areas that had been primed from recent repairs. Also I have terrible roller marks, no matter how many times I tried to correct them by sanding and refinishing the areas - new ones glare back at me. I've spent a week plus on what once was a two day job because it's so upsetting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glorious! This may in fact be better than sliced bread! We just closed on our house last week. What a nightmare!!!!! The paint they had was so cheap and poorly done. It was everywhere!!! Lines and paint marks everywhere! We purchased the Behr Marquee with our fingers crossed that it was as good as it says it is! I went in thinking well it's got to be better than what is there now. Well, I am a walking pallet of Behr Satin Enamel right now and I could not be happier! This paint is AMAZING! It legitimately covered over everything I have painted in the house so far. This includes hideous reds, yellows, greens. Oh did I mention the house was 2,284 square feet and there are only 2 of us painting? It also has popcorn ceilings... (a whole different awesome review I need to leave on the Behr Ceiling paint) If I could kiss the person who has formulated this paint, I would. Thank you guys so much for making such a fabulous paint! From Salem, CT we Love your products!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not wasting my money again. I spent literally hundreds of dollars on housefull of paint for my new house. It would've been a lot less if I hadn't had to back buy more paint for second coat. Yes there was primer and yes I followed directions on the can.

I used this paint ("Frost", with just a hint of blue) to cover the existing yellow/gold/peach/beige (depending on the time of day) paint the previous owners used in the 2 1/2 story great room. One coat did the trick!
