For a 15 x 12 living room, it took 2.5 gallons of paint. Original color was a medium to dark slate blue going to Polar Bear White. It claims to have a primer in the paint but in my opinion you are better off with a cheap primer followed by a less expensive paint. It took three coats in some places. The color is great. The quality is great. The coverage is very bad and it's going to get expensive. If money is no object, then get yourself a truckload of this and go for it.

We love this accent wall color and the sample was identical to the actual paint color. Very elegant and beautiful.

I just purchased a home with yellow paint, this covered it up in one coat and looks gorgeous! See before and after pics!

Bought Behr Premium Plus like I have done for the last 10 years. The color was Sofft Buttercup, the finish eggshell. Not sure if the formula has changed, but this paint was so much more watery than the other cans I've purchased over the years.
I was painting over previously painted plaster, and the color I was covering was Glidden-Billowing Clouds. It is a soft light blue. I use a 1-1/2" Purdy brush for the trim work. Please look at the attached pictures and you will understand my disappointment. I could understand if I was covering a dark color with this light one, but they are both relatively light colors.
I like to paint and change colors in my home every couple of years, and Behr was my go to because of the coverage. I may start just priming with a primer paint if I am going to have to do 2 coats anyway. I did return this to the store, and with minimal hassle they returned my money.

I painted a small 10 x 12 room that originally had a light yellow and light purple on the walls. this behr paint with primer was a pink color. I used 1 gallon to paint all 4 walls with 2 coats of paint. after everything dried you can still see the original colors under this new behr paint. Now i have to buy 1 more gallon to paint a 3rd coat to cover everything up. that's 70 bucks for a tiny room. not worth the money

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Shimmy Terrible color coverage
Used this paint to cover a previously painted wall and the color coverage was horrible. The original color was a lighter green and the top cover was a cream white. After one coat the green was easily showing through the top coat and the room needed a second coat.
I could see if there was a dramatic change in color like a deep red to white, but the original color was a soft color and this wouldn't cover in one coat. This was the worst coverage of any paint I've used in the past 30 years.
When I went back to the store, they said this paint doesn't claim to cover in one coat; it says "hides in fewer coats'
Won't be using Behr paints again.

At fist I was worried about the color matching like the color swatch.I was pleasantly surprised when the color matched perfectly. It is a beautiful color!! I'm going to paint my bathroom this color too!

Love this paint! I only used 2 1/2 gallons for what took 3-4 the last time I painted the same space. It covered a dark red orange wall with one good coat of the light green gray I used. My only problem is that I bought one gallon too much.
