Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JPN80 Russian Blue 560F-4 true to online color, Needs at least 2 coats with knockdown texture on walls
Russian Blue 560F-4: The paint can was packaged well; I didn't have an problems with paint leakage or dented cans.
Paint color: The medium blue color is true to online Behr color at least on my screen and is within the same color family as Raging Sea (750F-4); however, it has more blue tones than Raging Sea. I used this color and finish on the ceiling; since the finish is semi-gloss, the daylight reflects off the ceiling better, making the room appear more spacious and the existing 10 ft walls look even taller.
Paint Application: I had to thin the paint because it was too thick to apply with either the nap roller and Wooster brush; I followed the recommended paint thinning ratio for the paint sprayers (which is 1/2 pint water to 1 gallon of paint) and this helped tremendously on applying the color.
Stain-blocking paint and primer in one claim: It did cover an oil stain left when "silly putty" was stuck on the ceiling in one section with one coat and the existing ceiling color was Sherwin Williams "D.R. Horton White" (i.e. light beige). I did need to use 2 coats to cover the knockdown texture on the ceiling; no matter what paint brand used (Behr, Glidden, Sherwin Williams, and Benjamin Moore) I always have to use 2 coats for the textured walls and ceiling - not a big deal but just extra work.
Paint smell: It's slightly stronger than Glidden but the same as SW and BM; however, it's definitely not as smelly as oil based paint for sure. I just kept the window open between coats and the smell dissipated within 24 hrs.
Cleanup: It was easy to rinse out brush and nap roller with soap and water after use.

I live in a home which i have painted often over the years. Had my gallon tinted to Cathedral gray for my bedroom.....it feels like a warm hug. Once on it was a little darker than I thought it would be but love it now. The perfect color to go with purple and black accents. No drips, used 1/3 of the gallon for my small room covered beautifully. I had coupons for other paint but I always go to the best out there....GREAT PAINT!!

I am disappointed in the Behr premium plus ultra semi-gloss paint. I have used it in the past (about 3 yrs ago) without an issue but recently I think the quality has been modified thinking people won't notice. Two weeks ago I started repainting our bathroom. To prepare, I scrubbed the walls, and primed them. The original colors were white on top, and light blue on the bottom. The new colors were mango tango over the white and scallion green over the blue. Neither of the new colors covered in 1 coat. What happened to the ability of dark colors to cover white in 1 coat? I even called the Home Depot where the paint was purchased and was told that no dark paint will cover white in one coat without streaks or looking much lighter; multiple coats would be needed. Unfortunately, Behr is one of the "better" paints on the market and my house needs an update so I will begrudgingly continue to use it but MUST plan on purchasing more paint than should be necessary to finish the living room and kitchen, all of which are presently white walls. So if you're planning a major or minor paint project, plan on buying twice the amount of paint you think you need. I've had the same experience with the Marquee paint as well. After the multiple coats, I do admit the bathroom looks great, but my bank account is taking a serious hit having to buy extra paint.

We brought a color from a different paint brochure, and the person at Home Depot matched the color perfectly with Behr Premium Plus Ultra Interior Semi Gloss Enamel.
We painted a bathroom with a light gray color, and then painted the outer room with a Behr Silver Polish color, and my Husband used a Behr white color for the trim. We are so pleased that the colors will match our new flooring perfectly!

I have painted many rooms in my lifetime with many different paints but about 15 years ago I discovered Behr paint and I'll never use another brand of paint again. Behr goes on nicely without drying too quickly to allow you to smooth over any brush strokes and the coverage is superb. The overall wear of the paint is also excellent. My children put our walls through quite a trial while they were growing up and Behr paint made those walls very easy to clean!

I paid a little more for this paint hoping to get great coverage and paint my whole bathroom with one gallon. My strategy worked! The paint covered well and rolled on smoothly, and the finish is flawless. Definitely worth the price. Also, this was my first time to use a semi-gloss finish, and I really like the way it reflects light softly without being too shiny. Thanks, Behr!

Almost finished with the second house painted with this product. The first is a house in Idaho, the second a condo in Florida. Product works great in both dry climate and humid climate. The "chocolate froth" just covered a garish medium blue wall paint beautifully. The white also covered the same blue that was slopped all over the ceiling. Easy to work with and easy clean up. Best paint I've ever used.

I have tried other paints that are a lot more expensive because other family members suggested that it was a better product.. not true! I find that I toss that EXPENSIVE gallon aside and go to HD to pick up a can of Behr paint. (I should have done that in the first place.) It coves great! smooth glossy finish.. the color is always perfect and it wears like iron! I just love this stuff.. save your money and go with Behr paint.. you won't regret it!
