I love this paint, discovered it when talking with the sales clerk at Home Depot. I painted my bedroom ceiling and was totally "smitten" with the texture of the paint and one coat ease. Since I have used it in my kitchen and the living room is on the "to do" list. I was amazed at the difference a fresh coat of paint made on the ceiling, often overlooked. I have recommended this to many friends and colleagues. When you commit to the job of painting anything, using the best products is the key to success.

Extreme stains must be primed with a stain killer first, but 2 coats of this paint produces a nice even finish. It is best to let dry overnight if minor stains bleed through first coat. It is definately my new "go to" for ceiling paint [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I wanted to make sure my bathroom ceilings were painted after we moved in and this works fantasticly. No complaints. Clearly if you have a giant stain on your ceiling you may have to either replace the drywall OR use a stain primer first but in my opinion this paint is perfect for bathroom use where moisture is present and this will help prevent moisture from absorbing and staining or covering slight preexisting imperfections.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by plcarl123 Behr- the only paint I use!
I painted the ceiling in old room that was used for storage that we were converting into a dressing room. Who knows how long it had been painted last- it also was water stains from a leaky roof. The whole room including the ceiling had been [painted a dark tan so I was a little concerned about coverage but after the second coat the room looked new. Very happy with the results- that is why I only use Behr paints! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Brokenback Just painted my 4th coat - still stains... Sigh
First let me say that I love, love, love the Marquee series paint. It's the best paint I've even used so I thought the Premium Plus Ultra Stain Blocking Ceiling paint would be just as good. Boy - was I wrong. I had yellowish water marks in the ceiling where the dry wall tape and mud was located. Well - I just finished my 4th coat of paint and I'm going to need AT LEAST a 5th coat. I think milk would have done a better job.

We had a problem with mildew in the bathroom, and the ceiling was a mess! After doing some online research, I realized the value of Behr Premium Plus Ultra Stain Blocking Ceiling Paint. The paint went on as smooth as silk and covered several ugly water marks, too. Cleanup was a cinch, just soap and water. The finish is remarkable, and the room looks so much lighter and brighter--I was amazed at how dingy the old ceiling was. One coat was all it took, and every time I look at the ceiling now, I think Wow! no more mildew to worry about because the paint actually kills mildew before it starts. Thanks, Behr!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GrumpyBear Ceiling paint but doesn't cover
I have put 2 coats of primer and 3 coats of this ceiling paint on a newly drywalled ceiling. I am left with a ceiling which is not smooth and not fully covered in a house renovation of over $150,000. I have been told it is something I did,but no one can say what, and not the paint. I can not believe I am so unfortunate to be the only one to ever have this problem. I have been painting for over 40 years without having a problem. The rest of a 3000 ft house was painted with no problems. I would never recommend anyone use this paint when there has to be many better alternatives.
