is there any problems using this on the interior? WALLS AND CEILING

is there any problems using this on the interior? WALLS AND CEILING
Asked by: RET
Hello RET, Thank you for your interest in our products. For the interior, we would recommend using our Interior Premium Plus Ultra. Interior coatings typically dry to a harder finish making them easier to withstand routine cleaning and scrubbing. While an exterior product is a strong coating, it is not made to resist this type of washing and can lead to early discoloration. Best regards, Kevin

Mixing paint

I am using Behr premium INTERIOR paint on my bathroom ceiling and fear running out of paint before my project is finished. Can I add Behr EXTERIOR paint to the remaining paint to be sure I can finish the job?
Asked by: Terry
Hi Terry, thank you for your question. We do not suggest mixing as it may alter the color, sheen, and overall effectiveness of the paint. We recommend that you purchase additional paint with the same sheen and color to ensure a uniform job. Hope this helps and good luck with your project!

I am comparing this paint to PPG Perma-CRETE.

PPG states that Dry Film Thickness is 3.2 - 5.8 mils. What is Ultra Pure dry thick ness? I am painting over stucco that is about 5 years old. Have no idea what kind of paint is on it now. It is what ever the builder used I think,

What paint do I need for an exterior front door.

I was sold exterior satin without a primer. My family said that this paint will not work.
Asked by: Trudy
I'd strongly suggest exterior semigloss. The Behr Ultra Premium Primer+Paint Enamel is pretty awesome! If you're just doing a single door, a quart should do. Semigloss will take the most abuse-- but make sure you've got decent weather for a couple days- once the paint dries, it still has to harden for a couple/few days before it's really ready. (think of nail polish) Be sure to clean your old door, and scrape any loose paint, fill any cracks before painting; even the best paint won't hide!

Will this paint cover over the dark brown trim thats around the outside of my home?

Example: I have looked at the manual and can't figure out what I did wrong.
Asked by: EasyE
Hello EasyE, We appreciate your question. Yes, this paint can cover any previous colors. Please note that you might need two to three coats when making a big color transition (like very dark to very light). Please be sure to follow all label instructions for best results. Well wishes for your project! -Joshua

What paint would you recommend for new stucco and will it seal the stucco

Asked by: buddy
Hi Buddy, thank you for your question. For new stucco, please allow 30 days for it to fully cure. We suggest that you use prime all uncoated, patched, chalky, wood and/or metal surfaces with a product such as BEHR PREMIUM PLUS® NO. 436 Exterior Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer first. Then, you can use a top coat like BEHR® Masonry, Stucco & Brick Paint (comes in flat and satin sheens) or BEHR PREMIUM Elastomeric Masonry, Stucco & Brick Paint. Be sure to follow all back label instructions, and best of luck on your project!

1 gal. Ultra Pure White Flat Exterior Paint is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 634.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the best paint on the market as sales guy said I've been painting for 30 years and bought this at my local store. The paint guy said this was the best paint on the market and said how well it covers. I applied a white finish over a white alkyd primer and no way would 1 coat cover. Go to Sherwin Williams and get their Superpaint. It's actually a little cheaper and does cover in 1 coat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I did not like working with this paint I used this product to paint wood that was in good shape and had a good base of paint. I cleaned the area, applied a primer and then I used this paint. The paint did not go on smoothly and uniformly and as a result I had to give the surface 3 to 4 coats so it would look even. I would not recommend this product. I should have listened to a painter who suggested I do not use it based on his experience.

The trim is a medium brown, we are painting the trim white so we applied a stain blocking primer first trying to avoid two coats of this expensive Exterior Satin Enamel. Even though the Behr Premium Plus Ultra has its own primer and stain-blocking claim, it just doesn't perform. So as it stands now we have applied one coat Zinsser Primer and two coats of the Behr Premium Plus. We are waiting to see how it "cures", we may need a third coat. What a waste of time and money on a poor product. Also, it just doesn't "flow/apply" easily with a brush; I'm using Wooster Pro nylon/polyester brush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product When I bought this paint to redo window trim that had been prepped with a power washer and sanding I was sure I would be using 2 coats of paint on this tedious job. Happily one coat thoroughly covered all surfaces of the window trim and it looks great. I am very pleased with this purchase.

At first I thought this paint was a little pricey, but after application and good coverage it's worth the price. So far this year I've purchased 20 gallons of Behr natural sealer and 10 gallons of Behr premium exterior paint for my home and outbuildings. I hope it will last.

I purchased the stock white paint to coat approximately 185 S. F. of brand new pre-primed lap siding. I used all but about 1 oz. of the product which should have been more than enough to adequately cover the surface. WRONG! The entire surface is splotchy and you can see every roller overlap, and the whole paint job is completely see through. the pre-primed panels were a light beige so it should have covered easily. The paint guy at Home Depot was completely clueless and just wanted to get out of the discussion about what to do. He disappeared when I turned away for a moment. Don't buy this junk!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from too thin - dripped too muc This paint was too thin which surprised me. The Home Depot interior with primer for my bedroom came beautifully. I expected the same or better quality for the exterior.
