Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ronaldhughes sorry primer in paint!
This paint doesn't cover at all. I'm being told that this primer doesn't work. I've used 15 gallons and it wont cover. I'm told I need a pva primer too. But my paint is top quality with primer. I paid extra. My advice don't buy this paint. The store was no help. My company won't ever use this product again.

Last year I painted our downstairs bathroom and hallway with this product in a crimson red color. I expected to have to do 2 coats. I only had to apply one coat and it came out beautiful, gave the house a bold new look with a modern twist! the paint has continued to wear well with no issues even in the bathroom where there is limited ventilation. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for great coverage, ease of application and excellent durability.

I recently painted two brand new french doors (not pre primed). After two coats you could still see through the paint in areas. I am not sure if it was due to the fact the doors were brand new or if was truly a paint issue. I also used it on pre-primed trim and it covered fine. The paint seemed to cover well on anything that is pre-primed. I have a cabinet to paint that is unprimed. I expect it to take two coats. It will be interesting to see how well if covers. It took a gallon to paint all my trim. However, I am headed back to purchase another gallon to complete the job this weekend.

The paint goes on smooth, easy clean up. I used the white on ceiling and colors on the wall.
I had a gray color to use in the basement, but after putting it on the walls, I didn't like the color. Thought it might be the lights we were using, so changed them out, it looks better. It's still not the color that I saw under the lights at the store from paint sample. Will use a different color gray for the bathroom.
I would recommend using two coats. We are rebuilding after a flood so it's all new construction. We textured all the walls and ceilings with a small size "bump". I feel there is better protection with two coats. And with textured walls, you can still find "white" dots on the wall where I missed with the first coat of paint coverage.
Painters tape doesn't like to stick to the textured painted walls either. The yellow frog tape wouldn't stick, or stick for very long, about 2 minutes then fall off. Just thought I would give a heads up on that one.
All in All, it's a good quality paint.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by dc Should be called "Barely Covers"
Wish I had read the reviews first. Would not cover bare wood with two coats. Bought 5 gallons of this worthless stuff. Tempted to dump the last gallon of on Home Depot paint counter. This product should be pulled from the shelf.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Maxx Probably the standard now "Premiun Plus Ultra" for quality and price
Great paint in all finishes and colors, Big quality difference between 'premium plus' and premium plus ultra'. Spend the extra money for ultra.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by morningglory White is not white but clear.
Like Water. I just opened the can after shaking, stirring and prepping the area to be painted.. I wanted and bought white semi gloss ultra pure white. It's actually clear. I chatted with a spokesperson who said that it must be tinted. I don't want a tint. I thought that I was buying white paint, not a clear shellac.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 1950baileyhouse Always BEHR!!
I use nothing but BEHR and more specifically, the paint and primer in one. The latest purchase was for a bathroom vanity and mirror. Our brick rancher was built in the 50's and not designed for a standard vanity of today. So, it is solid wood and "made" to go in the 67 in long space. To update the dingy white, we chose Espresso Beans in a semi gloss enamel due to the moisture in the small bathroom. It turned out awesome and refreshed the entire space. I also like it (and all Behr paint I've used) because it is low odor too. If you do not miss spots, generally one coat will do the job, saving time and money.
