I love the coverage this product provides, it makes up for a lot of surface imperfections. It's not friendly to application in extreme sunlight but knowing to avoid that, I really enjoy working with Ultra.

I guess I should have read some reviews before purchasing this product. In the past I have always used a dedicated primer followed by paint. I thought I'd try it and save myself a step. Turns out that was a bad decision. I'm painting bare pine that's been sanded. Three coats in and the finish is just acceptable. I have used primers that cover better than this stuff. It dries super fast so after maybe 2 hours of painting I have to stop and clean the gum out of the brush and start over. NEVER going to buy this paint again.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Jarrod Goes on thin, covers poorly.
Have used this two different times now. Once in a bedroom when i first bought my house 2.5 years ago, and now on my bathroom renovation. I wasn't pleased with the coverage the first time around in the bedroom, but the house was new to me and i had no idea how long it had been since it was last painted. This time on the bathroom however, I had replaced 2 and a half walls and sprayed fresh texture, so i primed all surfaces first, then pajnted a couple days later. I put 3 fulls coats down, and a week later still had to retouch some areas, and cut all my corners in a second time, as I could see lines and thin spots. Once you get good coverage, it looks nice. Too soon to speak to the durability. Not worth the premium price. Gotten better results out of cheaper paints.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KenW Worked very well, good product.
Having decided to repaint my shed I talked with the paint associate at Home Depot in Lapeer Mich. and she recommended the Behr premium plus ultra exterior semi gloss. Its a thicker paint but goes on nice. The color of the paint matched perfectly with the sample card. But what I liked best was that it covered the existing color in one coat. (see pictures) This product worked out very well.

I always get good quality and good value using Behr paints. The interior doors I painted are 40 plus years old. After patching and sanding they were ready to be painted. Now they are as good as new.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MJF1 The BEST Paint ever!
Finished the house and garage, 7-6-13. Excellent outcome, covered in 1 coat, easy clean up, used a brush to cut in and a 4 inch roller on the aluminum siding(blue chaise). I painted the front and side porches with deck & patio paint(autumn leaves), also came out beautiful. See the pictures pls.

Low odor, fast drying, cleans easily and looks great! I found a tip which worked great. I lined the paint tray with aluminum foil. After I was finished using my paint roller I just rolled up the foil and threw it away. I had a clean paint tray ready to start my next job. The paint dried darker than when you put it on, so don't panic if you see different colors as it will dry the same color.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rms59 Worst Behr paint you can buy
First, I have purchased Behr indoor paints with primer and have had excellent results. I've painted all my rooms with one coat even going over a brown wall with green. It's awesome paint and Consumer Reports had rated it #1 and they were correct.
With that said, I can't recommend this exterior paint simply because of it's poor density. I bought this paint to cover a white garage door that had become slightly faded after years of weathering. This was a steel door that came baked white. This Behr paint (white) required two coats to cover the old white and I can still see the old white in some areas.
I don't know what else to recommend but this paint is awful.
