We are big DIY-ers and decided to paint the entire exterior of our 1955 Eichler Home. Our biggest challenges were picking the right gray (literally took us over a year) and prepping the 60-year-old siding.
With that done, the paint itself was a dream. Including the primer makes so much sense, and removes an annoying stage. The coverage is excellent. We did use two coats, to protect against the harsh summer sun.
We also used Behr paint for our front door and matching accent panels. We have received many compliments, including requests for paint references from two complete strangers, who proceeded to follow our color scheme.
Following some bad experiences with other brands, we switched to Behr for everything and haven't looked back. We've also used Behr Premium Plus Ultra for our interior walls and ceilings.
Needless to say, we are extremely happy, and would highly recommend Behr Premium Plus Ultra to everyone.

I have been painting with Behr paints for a number of years. The paint and primer line are the best. Great coverage. I recently painted the exterior of my home with Pewter Ring - it is a medium gray - I love it
Do not hesitate to buy any of the Behr paint products. You will be very pleased

This paint was easy to go on and only required 2 coats. I used this in my living room and kitchen. I have found that some flat or matte paints will wipe off when clean them but Behr does not. It has been a durable paint and I haven't had any yellowing with it either. I have always bought Behr paints and will continue to do so as the quality is top notch.

Living in Minnesota, exterior products get a wide variety of temperatures and weather extremes. After a severe spring hail storm, I was able to just touch up my wood siding when all of my neighbors with vinyl siding had to have extensive repairs or reside. It covered my minor damage so well it was 6 years before I noticed some dings in the siding and had to touch it up. The left over paint stored perfectly, and the color matched extremely well showing only slight fade on the southern exposure. The siding on the southern part of my home is exposed to high heat in the summer. Our temperatures range from 100+ degrees to minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brin1956 Looks like a new house
Wish I had a picture of before and after. The house lost years of age. We filled the woodpecker holes and other damage before painting. Then we made a good choice with Behr paint. Good idea as Behr did an awesome job. 8 yrs. later and the house still looks great. Had to put 2 coats on the sunny side but the coverage was almost dead on. Hubby's brother next door chose a cheaper paint and it showed. The colors were washed out and he has repainted already. My mother-in-law had to show everyone her new house ha ha. Loved the way this paint went onto the rough surface too.

I chose this Behr paint and planned to do it myself. After an unexplained seisure, I hired painters. They told me they use another national paint brand, but agreed to use my Behr paint. The head painter, who reluctantly used my paint, told me on the first day of painting that he preferred working with the Behr paint. We were both happy!
