Thanks for checking in! Yes, this paint is a great choice for your brick facade. The first coat will act as a primer, and any additional coats will build color and finish.

Hi ou812,
Thanks for checking in! I'm sorry to say I don't recommend using an exterior coating indoors. Interior and exterior paints are specially designed for their environments, and have different ingredients and benefits to make them more durable for that use. Even with ventilation an exterior coating has more weatherproofing ingredients than is allowable for indoor use.
Also, like you mentioned, interior paints are designed to harden so they can withstand regular scrubbing and washing, while an exterior paint is more flexible so it can withstand changes in temperature. If an exterior paint is scrubbed often it would wear or fade quickly.
I hope that helps! Best of luck with your project. Read Less

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 210 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great coverage and easy to apply I recently painted a ranch style house in three contrasting colors. The paint went on smoothly and covered easily with one coat. The colors came out just like the sample chips and we love the look. Behr is still the best paint! June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Behr, the only paint I will use! I have been using Behr paint for the past 10 years. It is the only paint I will use. Love it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love this paint I love this paint. It covers great and it is what I always buy, never disappointed... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mermaid Sea Loved the name and the color when I saw a commercial . It is even better on the house here on the coast of south texas. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] April 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy House I have a 115 year old craftsman house that was in much need of repair as well as deserved a new face lift. We have been renovating for 2 years. This paint was perfect for the old tired boards and new replacement boards as it was paint and primer in one. Great coverage on both old and new surfaces. Holds up to the hot summer sun and hasn't faded. Excellent paint at a good price! Were not finished yet but the outside is starting to look fabulous! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Faded I painted my entire house with the premium plus ultra satin and 4 years later it is totally faded out, I am trying the marquee brand in repainting but if it fades like the ultra I will go back to using previous brand which my other house I painted with paint still looks good after 10 years [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by True color, great coverage This paint did a fantastic job of covering what we weren't able to sand off from a previous owner's botched (and very old) paint job. The dark blue has gotten a ton of complements and after 4 years, the color is still deep and rich despite the severe weather in our area. I was already a fan of Behr's interior paint. I'm now 100% sold on the exterior as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Paint I have used a lot of different paint brands over the years and this paint is by far the best. Coverage is incredible, flows smooth and looks great. It's the only paint I will ever use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] February 9, 2016
