Hi Bigman, It sounds like you have several painting projects - one exterior and four interior projects. First, for the exterior project, additional information is needed in order to calculate how much paint is needed to paint your complex/home. Start with measuring the perimeter of your complex - let's say it is 22 X 30. In this example your perimeter would be 22 + 30 + 22 + 30 = 104. Next, measure the height of the building starting from the foundation to the roof line (excluding gables.) In our example, we are going to imagine a two story home that is 18 ft high to the roof line. Now multiply the perimeter of the home by the height. (104 x 18 = 1,872). An average window is 15 square feet and an average door is 20 square feet. You can subtract doors and windows from your calculation if you would like a more accurate estimate. If you have gables, multiply the width of the gable by its height and divide by two for each gable. For example, I may have two gables that are 10ft. high and 22 feet long so my calculation would be 10 x 22 = 220 / 2 is 110 sq feet per gable. I would add 220 to the house body measurement of 1,872 for a total of 2,092. A gallon of Behr Premium Plus Ultra Exterior Paint covers 250-400 square feet, depending upon your surface. If you have a smooth, sealed surface you will use less paint and if you have a rough, porous surface, you will require more paint. In my example I would need between five and eight gallons of paint (depending upon the surface) to apply one coat of paint to the home. For the interior, in order to estimate the amount of paint needed for your project, it is necessary to know the length of your room, the width of your room and the height of your wall. First, calculate the square footage for the walls in your room. If you have two walls that are 10 feet wide and 10 feet high. The calculation for one of the walls at this size is 10 ft. (width) multiplied by 10 ft. (height) or 100 square feet. Since you have two walls at this same size, simply multiply by two... for a total of 200 square feet. If your other two walls are 11 feet in length and 10 feet high. The calculation for one of the walls at this size is 11 ft (length) multiplied by 10 ft (height) or 110 square feet. Since you have two walls at this same size, simply multiply by two for a total of 220 square feet. Add the total for all of your walls together (200 + 220) and you have a total of 420 square feet of wall surface to cover. If you wish, you can re-post the dimensions and we will help you calculate the amount of paint needed for your project. Thanks for your inquiry!

5-gal. #UL110-21 Dozen Roses Flat Exterior Paint is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 132.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Awesome! My wife and I inherited my parents home and the first project we undertook was repainting the exterior of the house. Last painted in the early 90's we wanted to not only prepare the surface properly, we wanted the best paint. We found that in Behr premium plus. The color selection, ease of application and application temperature window made this paint superior to any other we looked at. We chose the color Spanish Galleon and since finishing the house, we constantly, (really, it's true) have people stop by and comment on our house color and ask us what we used and how we did it. Thanks Behr for an exceptional product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not self level well Pros: Overall good encapsulation with 2 full coats. Cons: 1. Does not self level well, thick formula, thicker than other "quality paints". If you don't feather brush out immediately all surfaces, it sets too fast and shows all brush marks. I am a professional painter; I minimize direct sunlight for this reason. This was the biggest disappointment in the performance of this product. 2. Formula is very thick compared to other high quality paints, Behr said up to 8 oz of water can be added per gallon, I had to add 3 oz, to thin the paint down. 3. Constant stirring is recommended with this formula, for some, this can be a real nuisance. 4. Brushes get very "gummy" and need to be washed out using this product after about 4 hrs. Product gets very thick at bottom of 5 gallon bucket needs to add water to save product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Paint I used this product to paint my house exterior. Easy to apply (I used a roller), goes on smooth, covers well and looks great. Forms a waterproof barrier. Could not be happier with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Behr paint is the ONLY paint I will buy I've used other well known brand name paints in the past, but with less than satisfactory results. Behr Ultra paint has held up so well on the exterior of my house. It's the only paint I ever buy anymore. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exterior re-paint with Ultra flat We are using Behr Ultra Premium Flat on the complete exterior of our very old house. The siding has been mostly stripped down to bare wood as it had several coats of paint that had blistered. We are very impressed with the coverage that this paint has provided having to only use 2 coats to achieve a high quality finish. Glad we went with the flat as there are many imperfections on the old wood siding and the flat helps hide imperfections. I would recommend this paint to anyone that has an older character home and wants to keep that heritage quality look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Results I am pleased with Behr's interior paints. I used Behr paint for the entire interior of my house with no issues. So when it came time to paint the exterior, I was happy to see that Behr had a product that was "Paint & Primer in One". Within 3 years, however, this paint (PREMIUM PLUS ULTRA® Exterior Flat) started peeling in numerous places all around the exterior of my house (again, the interior paints are holding up well). It is peeling in places that were prevously painted, but it is also peeling in places that have never been painted (we replaced the windows and doors, so there were door casings and some stucco patch that had no paint on them). I would not recommend this product. Perhaps Behr reformulated this product since I used it; it's been about 4 years since we painted, and I believe this was a new product at that time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only paint brand I will use I painted the outside of my house I recently purchased and I wasn't sure how it would turn out because it was a dark brown and I wanted a lighter grey. The Behr paint covered it all up. It looks great. I get compliments all the time! This is the only paint I would ever buy.
