Answer:
Great, provided you do the prep. You have to plane it smooth. You get rid of the old surface and back to surface looking better than when you bought it. Painting goes faster, takes less paint and significantly increases albedo. Be sure to wear safety breathing mask and gloves since pressure treated wood is infused with arsenic and chromium (carcinogens)! The more you prep the better the product.

Dear Tee,
There was a missing step in the calculation previously posted. Please see below for the corrected calculation. We apologize for any confusion.
I am going to calculate based on a 10 foot high wall (since many rooms have 8-10 foot high ceilings). In the dining room, two of your walls are 8 feet wide and 10 feet (est.) high. (8 ft X 10 ft. = 80 sq ft. X 2 walls = 160 sq.ft.). The other two walls Read More

Add the two together and you have a total of 488 sq.ft. of wall surface in the dining room. Now, some of this wall surface may be covered by built-ins, and some is not "paintable wall" such as windows. If your walls are relatively smooth and in good condition one gallon of paint plus two quarts will allow you to paint one coat on the wall. Read Less

Hi Tee,
The one measurement that is missing (and necessary for an accurate estimate) is the height of the wall.

Hi Tee,
The one measurement that is missing (and necessary for an accurate estimate) is the height of the wall.
The other two walls are 8 ft. 2in. wide X 10 ft. (est.) high. (8 ft 2 in X 10 ft = 164 sq.ft.) Add the two together and you have a total of 324 sq.ft. of wall surface in the dining room. Now, some of this wall surface may be covered by built-ins, and some is not "paintable wall" such as windows. If your walls are relatively smooth and in good condition one gallon of paint will allow you to paint one coat on the wall.
Assuming the kitchen also has 10 foot ceilings, the first two walls are 9 ft wide X 10 ft. high. (9 ft X 10 ft = 90 square feet X 2 walls = 180 sq ft.). The other two walls are 9 ft 6in X 10 ft. (9 ft 6 in X 10 ft = 96 square feet X 2 wall = 192 square feet.) Add the two together and you have 372 square feet of wall surface. Again, assuming some of the wall is covered with kitchen cabinets or is not "paintable", and your surface is relatively smooth and in good condition, one gallon of paint will allow you one coat on the wall.
The number of coats you will need is determined by a number of factors, including the color you are covering, the texture and porosity of the wall and the new color. There is a paint calculator available on Behr.com that will allow you to input room dimensions to yield a paint quantity estimate.
Your question on cabinets is best directed to the cabinet manufacturer or The Home Depot associate in the cabinet department.

Answer:
Hello karen12,
Thanks for your question! Yes, this paint can be colored (AKA tinted) by choosing a color from the Behr paint palettes. You might want to first check out some color swatches and try 8 oz. samples before committing to full sized containers of paint.
Best wishes for your painting!

Answer:
Hello Linklane,
Thank you for your question!
Yes, this product will work well on your painted stucco. Just be sure it is clean and that the paint that is currently on there is sound (i.e. not peeling or chipping). If it is peeling or chipping, you will have to sand it until the surface is sound.
Good luck with your project,
Christine

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 170 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product. I have been using Behr paints for years. I have always been satisfied with the quality and coverage of Behr paint. I didn't have good luck with spraying the marquee on aluminium siding though. It seemed the marquee is such a thick paint that no matter how fine a mist I tried to apply I encountered sagging. I have used the marquee on several other applications and found it to be an excellent paint. I wound up using PREMIUM PLUS ULTRA® Exterior Semi-Gloss Enamel which worked great on aluminium siding and covered in one coat. Behr has excellent customer service. I was given a full refund for the marquee purchase. Thanks Behr for a great product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best paint I have ever used! In 2008 I repainted my house with this Behr paint. The paint covered in 1 coat but I put 2 coats on just because I had always had to do that (house is 30 years old). This paint has held up remarkably well. The only area I am now repainting is the back of the house which gets extreme sunlight and heat (Alabama). It has just started to chalk in a few places. All it will require is light sanding on the facia boards and French doors, cleaning and repainting these areas. The rest of the house is still looking very good. Before I had to repaint every 4 1/2 years so I am thrilled with Behr. It is easy to apply (smooth) and easy to wash up my brushes afterward. I won't use any other paint brand! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Done with other paint brands We bought a 5 gallon bucket of semi-gloss interior paint. 3 rolled on coats of it on top of primer was not enough to cover "blue" sheetrock in the bathroom. One coat of the Behr covered it with no pre-primer. So we got a 5 gallon bucket of the exterior semi-gloss to paint our boathouse. Boom! One coat, done, and it looks soooo rich. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best coverage! We used this paint last year. It looks as good today as it did right after we painted. No cracks, no peeling. Covered well with 1 coat over behr primer/sealer. Color remained true. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product! I used this paint on an old wood garage door and trim on house. It lasts many years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I Swear By BEHR! I own a handyman business and I tell all my customers, "We gotta use BEHR Brand paint". My favorite use was on a shed remodel that I did. You gotta see how it looks! It is amazing! I actually applied two coats, and I laid the 2nd coat on heavy and this shed just glows with beauty, sitting in the back yard. It's like a work of art, and it made my work look even better! I wish I could post more 'before and after' pictures of it here, but you can see more pictures at handymanservices4you dot com [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] February 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect color match This paint was chosen after a month of hunting for just the right color. My wife did the painting and really liked the way it covered our rough sawn cedar siding. Neighbors have seen it and immediately were impressed with the color and how it complimented our exterior brick. Words like "beautiful and perfect match and love the texture" were spoken. We are buying interior paint now and it to is a Behr product. This will include painting of kitchen and laundry cabinets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] February 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by durable I renovated a country church from 1858. The wood siding and window and door trim took many, many gallons of paint. Behr paint and primer saved time and money and lasted far longer than other paints used over the years. Saves trips up and down the ladder and also saves the time you would need to wait between coats of primer then paint. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] February 9, 2016
