Our sample dried with almost a hint of red in the grey (it went on top of light beige walls). We liked the color though and bought a full can, which dried an entirely different grey. Instead of having the darker tones, it is a very light grey. It's a quality paint but the sample was a useless indicator of what we should expect to see.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Annie Great color, finally an actual GRAY
I have painted the same room three times now and the color of gray kept turning out blue. I bought the Porpoise after a few reviews, had it lightened 25% and it is fantastic !

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Angela A fantastic grey
I sampled approx. 10 different greys in our home before deciding on this Porpoise color. While it is supposed to be a true grey with no real defined undertone I do not believe this is true. My great room windows face north so there is never any direct light coming into the room. As the sun moves over our home throughout the day the color of this paint shifts from a almost brown grey, to lilac to appearing blueish grey in the evening with our ambient lighting on. It does match the color on the chip however when done on large walls the color seems different. I don't mind this shift of color, I actually prefer it. It have a mixture of dark woods, chocolate leather and bright prints in the room so that may alter how it appears as well.
The quality of this paint is very good. I had planned on going with Sherwin Williams when we purchased our new home but after reading Consumer Reports and Behr Ultra Premium being their number one I decided to get Behr. The smell is almost non existent, the coverage is superb. I have very textured walls and did have to go over a second time in some areas however probably 70% of the room was covered in one generous rolled on coat.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rebecca Purple undertone
I purchased the paint with primer and painted over off white walls. After 3 coats and a 1 week dry time, the purple undertone came through in sunlight and in pictures. I did not want a gray with purple undertones. I'm back to the drawing board after spending a week painting a very large area hoping it would dry and the purple would go away. In some light it appears lilac.
