Customer Questions & Answers

what is the coverage for weathered deck 293 sq'

how many gals. how many gals.
Asked by: kentro
Hi kentro, Thank you for your question. This paint will cover 250-400 sq. ft., however, we don't recommend applying this product to deck floors. We suggest using our Solid Color Waterproofing Stain & Sealer instead, which can be viewed here: http://www.homedepot.com/p/BEHR-Premium-1-gal-White-Tint-Base-Solid-Color-Waterproofing-Stain-Sealer-501101/203223471?keyword=behr+5011/. This stain will cover 200-400 sq. ft. for your first coat, and 400-800 sq. ft. for your second coat. For a deck that's 293 sq. ft, you will need 2 gallons. Best wishes for your project! - Sara
