Dear sugee,
Thanks for posting your question. It's hard to give you a definite answer to your question because there are a lot of unknowns - specific substrate, condition of the substrate, and number of coats needed.
Basic calculation for determining number of square feet is the multiplication of length by width. One gallon of BEHR PREMIUM PLUS ULTRA® Exterior Paint & Primer will cover 250-400 sq. ft. The reason there is a range is that the spread rate will vary, as mentioned above, depending on substrate, substrate condition, and number of coats needed. Paint will go further on smooth, sealed surfaces and, as you would expect, you will need more paint for rough, porous or textured surfaces. Your application tools and technique will also have some effect on the spread rate as well.
If you are only painting trim and doors, make sure the areas to be painted are in good condition. Any peeling or flaking? Any bare, unsealed, uncoated wood? Once you know all the surfaces are properly prepared by removing rust, loose or peeling paint, are smooth and clean, glossy surfaces scuff sanded and dry, you should be good to go. Hope these tips help and we wish you luck with your project. Read Less

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Paint Sample I haven't used the sample at this time. However, I have used the same product in the past. I use the samples to make chalk paint. Using samples saves me a tremendous amount of money compared to the already made chalk paints. October 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by horrible I guess I should be blaming Consumer Reports since they are the ones who rated this as the primo defacto best of all! Horrible coverage, streaks galore. Absolutely the most overpriced ($41+) paint I have ever used. Putting White Latex over White Latex and this stuff looks horrible! Changes brushes, reshook, repainted and still the horrors continued. I would NEVER expect a $41 paint to streak like this, let alone one that supposedly has primer in it. Speaking of which, it reminds me of a semi gloss primer. I fully did not expect these results let alone the thought of having to use this to put two coats on to cover up the streaks it creates. Skip Behr paints. Go with tried and true Glidden. Do not buy into the hype and DO NOT buy this overpriced primer. This is going back to Home Depot. June 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great coverage! I used it to paint our bathroom. The husband lived in this place on his own since 1999, so the poor bathroom paint was in terrible condition and dark stains everywhere. After 1 coat it looked awesome, gave a second just because we had a lot of paint left. Dries fast and doesn't smell bad. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Behr Ultra Pure White Exterior Paint - Goes on smoothly with primer included one coat covers almost all! A great paint for covering a dark color. It needed only one coat in most areas and a few touch ups. Smooth easy application. Used in other areas as pure white color and it is a brilliant white color. I have had to hose down one of the areas I used this paint and the dirt just wash off beautifully no scrubbing needed. Because we're so happy with this product, and being able to get samples of colors we have decided to paint the exterior of our home with it. The sample size have saved us a lot of money with colors that would not work for our purposes, but also worked to pick just the right colors. The difference in hues are amazing. July 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing. This is garbage. I used Benjamin Moore for the wall color but thought I could cut corners and use this on the trim. What a mistake. My painter was skilled and the walls look fine, but the trim has all kinda of brush strokes and took three coats (over already white trim) to look decent. This is a disappointing product and if I could return it I would. Probably fine for a rental property, but not up to my standards. There is a reason it cost half as much. October 29, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good purchase Paint is recommended by Consumers Report and performance was good. June 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great quality Very easy to put on, very easy to clean and the colors look great on semi gloss. Recommend. June 5, 2013
