We have had this product for less than 2 years. With normal cleaning using Scrubbing Bubbles the surface finish has worn through. I am handicapped and MUST sit to go to the bathroom. The stream shots out from below the seat to the floor!

Best I have ever had. It looks great with all the chrome. And installation is the simplest possible, I know I have installed many.
It is expensive, but note, when you change them for another seat, you can remove the (expensive part) chrome hinge unit and install it on a $25 Bemis. That makes it much less costly over your lifetime, whatever your age.
Don't believe the Home Depot spec sheet, which says the seat is plastic. IT IS NOT, it is excellent bonded and enamelled wood. I checked this again with Home Depot, this afternoon.

This is a quality wooden toilet seat. It has a solid feel and has attractive hardware. I have 2 of these. The first I purchased several years ago and it is still perfect. When I needed one for a second bathroom, I specifically sought to purchase the same model and was happy to find it still available, though more expensive.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by CPAhomeowner image misleading ... wrong Bemis replacement seat
I attempted to buy on line based upon the Home Depot photo image of Bemis product. It only looked like the seat that I wanted to replace. When the package arrived, I was only then I could see that I had purchased the wrong Bemis seat. I had to do what I wanted to avoid .. a trip to the local Home Depot store .. just to get that one item.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by devo53 What About Quality Control???
I have used this model of toilet seat for several years and have been very pleased with it. Evidently, however, the quality control of the product has certainly gone downhill during the past 8 years. I have been in the process of replacing my 4 toilet seats, and half of them had defects and had to be returned. This has really created a major inconvenience for me. The one seat had a couple of nicks in it, and you can't tell me their "quality control" did not see that. No, they just let it pass hoping that the customer won't go to the trouble to return it. If I didn't like this toilet seat so much, I would not have continued to order it, but I will keep doing so until I get my four seats replaced. The other problem I had with one of them was the bolts that held it to the toilet were not staying in place making the seat move, so I had to return that one also. I've just ordered the last one and will return the nicked one, so hopefully, I'll get the last one installed.
I recommend this toilet seat with reservations that I would tell someone be prepared for a defective one. 50% defect rate is not good.
