Great product, installed easily and instructions were clear. seat is very sturdy, not just made for the kiddo's, I am 6'4" tall and weigh 230 pounds, seat felt fine and comfortable. I really like the fact that the child portion snaps on and off very easily, and when it is snapped off, looks like a regular seat.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cusemom Fantastic product!
It took me a while to convince my husband to spend $40 on a toilet seat but now even he is converted! We absolutely love this seat, it is extremely well made, the soft close feature is wonderful (it doesn't get in the way of our toilet safety lock either), it's easy to clean and it is fantastic not having disgusting kiddie seats laying around everywhere. My one and only complaint would be the lack of any sort of splash guard, so we're trying to find a solution to that problem for our potty training son but otherwise, this item is definitely worth the purchase!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HappyDad Perfect if you have kids
If you have kids, you know how frustrating it can be to set up a potty seat for a toddler in a hurry. This seat makes conversion from an adult seat to a kids seat so easy. All you have to do is flip it down. The hinges on this seat also slowly lower the seat and lid into place to prevent pinched fingers. It works so well that we have put one of these on all of the toilets in the house that the kids use.
Mechanically, the seats work well. I've had one for over a year and it continues to function like new. The bolts haven't loosened and the lid continues to close at the same slow rate.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JoieGee Works great, easy to install
I replaced my toilet seat with this one after getting fed up with my fourth potty ring. I wish I'd just started with this three years ago when my daughter started toilet training and not now when my son is about done.
It was really easy to install. The potty part pops out when you're done with that part of your lives, but I'll probably keep it for when people with smaller kids visit. It closes very slowly, so no little people's parts get pinched. There is a magnet keeping the potty part from falling on bigger users.
I'd buy this again and would recommend it as the only potty you will need.
For reference, we went through two spongy inside Ninja Turtles seats, one big turquoise foam ring that stained my previous toilet seat, and one princess spongy inside seat that went to a less frequently used bathroom upstairs. The two Ninja Turtle ones always made the bathroom smell like urine. The princess wasn't as bad, but that's only because my son wasn't using a toilet yet.
Giving it four stars because I'm not sure how well
the thing will last.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Loofah Child seat broke off after 4 days
We had this seat installed for only 4 days before it broke. The adult portion of the seat is really nice and sturdy. The no-slam closing action is very smooth and does close the seat without a sound. The problem is that the child part is only attached at the hinge by very small plastic nubs. The seat kept popping off and I kept snapping it back on until today when one of the 1/4 inch long,1/8 inch wide plastic nubs broke off. I can't imagine them not breaking off. I'm going to have to return it. Thankfully my husband hadn't thrown out our old regular seat yet. This seat didn't even make it until trash day!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JQE13 Works great with one caveat
This is great for potty training, however there is one thing purchasers should be aware of. If you leave the smaller seat down frequently and your child is still potty training, urine does tend to get underneath the seat (don't ask me how, especially with a girl, it seems to defy the laws of physics). If you don't realize it and it isn't cleaned, the enamel on the main seat will come right off. We have at least 5-8 spots grey "worn" spots on the main seat even though we clean it daily. Otherwise this works perfectly
