I used to buy $10-15 wood composite seats. I've been through many and all of them absorb urine. I have 2 boys and after a month of use the seats had yellow and brown spots on under side that bleach did not remove. This seat is plastic and it is not stained yet. I wipe it as often as I wiped the "wooden" ones and it is still looking new after a month of use. The seat is also quite comfortable to sit on and fits my toilet perfectly. Closes quetly - both the seat part and the cover. It comes with hardware that is packed in a small bag and appears to be pretty tight and reasonably good. I plan to buy one more for another bathroom.

I purchased this for my American Standard round bowl toilet. This toilet seat was considerably too small. There is about an inch of the bowl rim exposed outside of this toilet seat. I will be returning it.

We bought this one because the other models are more than I am willing to pay for a toilet seat. It installed and works fine. I think the materials used are slightly flimsy, but as long as you don't jump onto it, it should last a long time. We have had ours for about three months now. If you are living in a rental property and don't want to invest a lot of money in a toilet seat, this is for you. If you own, you might want to upgrade and spend the larger amount on the better models.

The seat fit perfect on my one piece American Standard toilet. I only buy slow close toilet seats because when your a guy in a house full of women you always have to close the seat cover and this makes it easier. I like the never move seat hardware because it does what it says and does not move,so for under $20 this is a awesome deal :)

I have always had the problem of the toilet seat becomming loose, having to tighten it every few months. The suretite attachment for this model is easy to install and seems to have really solved the tightness problem. The only draw back I have come to notice is the bottom part of the seat, hiden from view, is a little more involved when it comes to cleaning, not a major concern, but might be a consideration for others considering the purchase.
