This seat is great! The hinges are heavy-duty so they don't twist and come loose and they don't bend

It's a nice seat.
Nitpick: Because the easily-detachable hinges are larger, the back of the seat sits farther forward on the toilet. So if you look straight down on the toilet you can actually see in the back of the bowl by the hinges. If your toilet protrudes into the room(you can see it directly from the side) the gap might be easier to notice. But in my application the toilet is next to a cabinet so the gap is not noticeable.

Quality product. Slow close seat with metal connection brackets. Higher priced than most toilets but it's nice to not have the seat slip back & forth as happens with plastic brackets.
This item is supposed to come with 2-spacer brackets. Mine came with only 1. Had to make a spacer for the seat to install properly.
Beside missing the spacer there are no other problems.
Works fine just as expected.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 1wasteoftime Worst Toilet Seat Ever
After 2 weeks use, the seat is loose where the hinge screws to the seat. The screws can't be tightened. This is worse quality than the $5 seat I took off. I am going to return this and buy a different brand. Save yourself time, money, and headaches, don't buy this product.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by FirstTimeHomeOwner Bolts not long enough for older toilets
My older toilet was a bit too thick for the bolts. The bolts did not stick out far enough on the bottom to allow secure attachment using included plastic fasteners. I had to use my own nuts and washers. It was not a problem on a new toilet but something to keep in mind if you plan to install on an older one.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Frustrated cheaply made, broke during installation- twice!
2 out of 3 of these seats (and I followed the instructions easily) broke off the plastic "sta-tite" female adapter to where the bolt attaches while tightening. I made sure it was threaded appropriately, but this happened to 2 of the 3 seats. Took them back and bought another brand. Done with Bemis and 3 trips to Home Depot. Very Cheaply made, but good looking on the outside Plastic (chrome/nickel look) construction. Absolutely would not recommend this seat.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jfairfax Bolt's just a bit too wide.
These are really nice toilet seats, my only gripe is that the bolts are set just about a half an inch too far apart. They still fit and they still work. It just made the installation a little more difficult than it should have been. Just make sure you measure before buying. Other wise they look good and close slowly.
