I love this style of clamp for the type of woodworking I do. I use them for clamping strips of wood together for cutting board blanks. I like being able to put strong, even pressure across the wood while still being able to clamp it flat by laying it across the support bars. I started with the much larger clamps, and recently started using these smaller ones. However, I have to say I prefer the bigger ones. The smaller ones are definitely light-medium duty. Also, I seem to have difficulty sliding the clamps across the bar. They just don't seem as smooth and easy to operate as the big K clamps. They are still top quality though. Just keep in mind they are for smaller projects.

Have no doubts ... the only things that these clamps share with their big brothers is the Bessey name and the color scheme. I own over three dozen Bessey clamps and, by a wide margin, these are of the poorest quality yet. Poor handles [small and made from cheap wood], lightweight and balky beams ... when they do bite, rather than slip, you can't get much pressure ... the diameter of the handles are just too small. If you have tiny hands and do light work, they could work for you; but in my workshop they have no place. And I find that strange because I can't rave enough about their other designs.

These are great. Bessey makes some of the best clamps I have used. As a DIY guy and amateur furniture/cabinet maker you can never have enough solid clamps for glue-ups. These clamps bite quickly and hold straight with no slide back. The stand-offs provide a contact area that keeps the bar off the work and therefor no glue on your bar. The faces can be easily removed for cleaning and the moving stock can be reversed for use as a spreader if needed. I love these clamps and look forward to many years of great service from them.

For someone that does most all their work by myself, this is like having a third hand! The size of the clamp is great for most jobs. The 12" jaw opening is adequate. This clamp allows you to clamp material on studs at 16" centers. So if you need a nailer,it is no problem. Little at a time I am replacing all my old style clamps with the newer ones, like this parallel style. They have come so far with all these new clamps,it
has made it so much easier for me to still enjoy my woodworking even as I have gotten older.

What can one say, other than Bessey clamps are justifiably the Gold Standard by which all other clamps are made.
Bessey clamps command a higher price, but that price provides the user with unmatched quality, clamping pressure, and the most effective purpose built clamp one can buy.
This K-Body Revo Jr clamp is the perfect solution for smaller size projects. It's rated clamping pressure is roughly half that, (900 lbs) of it's bigger K-Body Revo brother, (1,500 lbs) but don't let that deter you...900 pounds of clamping pressure is more than enough for any project.
Some of the differences from it's larger brother include wooden handles instead of rubberized ones, and thinner gauge steel rails. Like the other clamps within the K-Body line, this also converts to a Spreader clamp as well.
I like the fact that this clamp is lighter. It makes positioning on your project a bit easier.
I am finishing my glue-ups for some cutting boards, and I love the fact that once positioned, and tightened, there's no clamp racking whatsoever...None!
The end clips also provide an effective means of steading the clamp from falling over.
I've come to appreciate the Bessey line of clamps, and as such, would look at no alternatives when I need to purchase some clamps. These things are built like a tank!
Well worth the investment.
